Day 11 Saturday 22nd August - Hollywood Studios, Hoop de Doo Revue and Magic Kingdom Part one

We had another EMH on the plan today, this time at Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately this morning we were a little late getting out and we didn't arrive at the turnstiles until 7.40 which was somewhat later than planned and meant we were behind the crowds.:confused3 The park opened at about 7.55 and we went straight over to TSM but by the time we had ridden and were back out it was already 8.45. We walked straight over to RRC but it was still closed. We waited 5 minutes but there was still no sign of it opening so Olie took the girls on TOT.

Shortly after they went RRC opened so when they arrived back from TOT at 9.20 Robyn and Hattie went through the single rider line to get their ride. Sadly this time it took a while and in the end the CM loading took lots of people from the single rider line as it just wasn't moving at all.

By the time they came off it was now 10.00 and things weren't quite going to plan this morning so we popped into starring rolls for some drinks, snacks and a sit down. They were happy to charge 3 snacks as a CS credit on the dining plan but when Olie asked they did have to clear the items they had already put onto the till to ring them up in a different way so we made a note to ask as soon as we got to the register next time. :goodvibes I can't remember what we had but it was all delicious and this would definitely be on our list to visit again.

We weren't too sure what to do next as everything was busy so we opted for the 11.15 Indiana Jones show then we did a bit of shopping before heading back to OKW.

Part 2

On getting back to OKW we all had a nice long nap followed by a short swim before getting ready to head off to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. We took the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then took the boat over to Fort Wilderness. It was a pleasant ride and we were there in plenty of time for the 6.15 show.

The food was fine and our drinks were topped up regularly :)

I had some FPs booked for the Magic Kingdom after the show but was half expecting us to be too tired. Luckily we were all wide awake when we got off the boat back from Fort Wilderness so we headed through the turnstiles into the park. We got onto the railroad and headed round to frontierland for our first FP at Splash Mountain. Evie didn't want to go tonight so we waited by the exit for the 20 minutes or so it took the others to ride. Next stop was BTM which we all enjoyed. We had to wait to leave frontierland as the end of the parade was coming through. We planned to catch the parade another night but sadly we never did . We wandered through the park taking in the atmosphere until we got back to the end of main street, we wanted to watch wishes from here because we had a FP to meet Tink after the fireworks.

I did really enjoy wishes and wish that we had got to see it again later in the trip.
After the fireworks ended we had just a few minutes to wait for our FP

It was great to meet Tink as she has never been available for meets when we have been in Paris and she used to be Hattie's favourite. We made our weary way back to the bus after a busy but fabulous evening. :goodvibes
