The Emmys are on tonight this year, rescheduled from their normal September date due to the writers' and actors' strikes earlier in the year.
The Red Carpet is back on E! on TV. And streamers can also watch on People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly, which are teaming up for their own Red Carpet coverage on People.com and EW.com as well as both publications' free YouTube channels and social media platforms.
EVERYONE is invited!
If you are new to our DIS LIVE award show parties: This is one of the most fun dress events,
- err, award events and live DIS threads of the year.
Host is: Anthony Anderson (of Law & Order, Black-ish, and the game show To Tell the Truth.)
If you've attended before, you know the drill. (Newbies welcome!) Load up on munchies & drinks, wine & booze welcome. Including the Red Carpet, it's 5 hours!
Start times:
East Coast:
The Red Carpet starts at 6pm (ET) on E!
If you want to stream online, it will be available on Entertainment Weekly's YouTube channel, (that's regular FREE YouTube, not YouTube TV.)
OR on People Magazine's YouTube channel, (again, that's regular FREE YouTube, not YouTube TV.)
Plus both People.com and EW.com will show it on their websites and social media pages.
The Award Show starts at 8:00pm (ET) on FOX. <-- New Channel!
The Award Show is also streamed live at 8:00pm (ET) on FOX via Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, Fubo TV and YouTube TV.
West Coast:
The Red Carpet starts at 3pm (PT) on E!
The Award Show starts at 5:00pm (PT) on FOX. <-- New Channel!
The Award Show is also streamed live at 5:00pm (PT) FOX via Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, Fubo TV and YouTube TV.
This is a NO SPELLING POLICE THREAD!
The Spelling Police will be off duty and possibly slurring their own typing by the end of the evening. Typos & illegibility allowed! And if your posts are still making sense by hour 3, you aren't sloshed enough.
Or, we are as toasted as you are!
Let's have another fun evening!
