What CP package did you get?

Hi,
I called the 800 number at 11:00 am and got a cast member at 11:30. Got what we wanted

Monday Nov29th
8:15 show
Garden Grill 5:30

Was told I need to pick tickets up at a both outside of Epcot-does this sound right-then he said booth may be over by show so now I'm confused:confused:

Hope you all get through soon
Cheryl

bugdoze, you can pick up when you check into your resort, its much easier.

BTW, I was on hold for almost two hours and gave up b/c I had to go to work. so I called a little later from work and got basically what I wanted:

Dec. 5th - 645 show 815 dinner in italy.

i was on hold for almost an hour. got exactly the time and restaurant we wanted. le cellier at 5:00, 8:15 show. we are going on wednesday, december 1. good luck everyone!!

I was on hold 1 Hour and 10 Minutes before anyone answered this morning at 7:00 am central time. I got exactly what I wanted, December 18, 2004, 8:10 show and 5:30 dinner at Le Cellier.

Hi!

Just got off the phone and made these reservations:

Coral Reef
December 6th
CP at 8:15
Dinner at 6:00
Dinner for 4

Only on hold for about 20 minutes! I didn't realize Illuminations will be on the same time. Do you think this will interfer with CP?

Thanks!

The CP ends at around 8:55 and you get out in time to watch Illuminations, which starts at 9. We did this last year.

I called the group dining number for my party of 18 right at 7:00 (5 a.m.) my time and a person answered immediately. I got my package - Nov. 26 for the 5:00 show and 7:00 at Alfredos. I was either way too tired, or surprised that I received an answer, but I forgot to ask how I pick up my tickets. Last time we did this 4 years ago, we picked up a lanyard at guest services the day of the CP. Does anyone know if this is the same? Thanks for your help.:earsboy:

Lucky you! I had to get up at 3:50 am our time to make the phone call for group dining! I called at 7am EST (4am here) and was put on hold, listened to four songs and then it got sent to a voice mail to leave my phone number and they would call me back. Okay, I went back to bed and got up at 5:45 our time and called again since I did not get a call back. Still, wait and then go to a voice mail. Okay, I was not happy!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_2_206.gif' border=0></a> I left another message and then throughout the morning, I called to get put on hold and then after four songs, get sent to the voice mail. Finally, FOUR hours after I woke up to make the phone call, I heard a voice! I was thrilled to finally speak to someone! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_215.gif' border=0></a> She must have thought I was a doofus with my excitement to finally speak to someone! We got Garden Grill 5:00 meal (only thing left) for 8:15 CP on November 26!

Finally, the phone calls are done for our trip over Thanksgiving! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1/1_4_7.gif' border=0></a>

Hi TigerLaw,
Do I need to call back and request resort pick up? How will they know to bring them to the resort? Would they be there when we check in?
Thanks for any help:D

That was a long hold time.... 50 minutes, but I now have reservations for Christmas Eve.

December 24th
Garden Grill at 5:30
Candlelight Processional 8:15

Two years ago we did the CP at Le Cellier and absolutely loved it. It was a highlight of our trip. This time we decided to do character meal for the kids...it is Christmas eve after all. Oh I am so excited...I'm ready to go now.:Pinkbounc

We picked ours up at Ecpcot at Guest Services last year. I would check with your resort when you check in. Just got off the phone after a 5 minute wait (much better than this morning). I booked LeCellier on 11/29, for 3, at 4:40...8:15 show. We were going to do Garden Grill again, but figured what the heck...spend the money and eat some decent steak.

Now to decide where to eat the rest of the time.

Sorry, didn't me to complicate things by adding a new thread about this, but my computer is having problems with this site, and I didn't see this thread before posting. :o

No need to call back. Everything is in the computer. They don't print your tickets/badges out until you stop by to pick them up. All you do is give them your name/confirmation number and then they print out what you need.

If past years are any indication, you'll be able to pick up your tickets at your resort, at specially marked booths at the EPCOT front entrance or in a booth near to the American Gardens Theater. There may even be other locations as well.

Best wishes -

I was on hold this morning for 45 minutes and gave up.:( I called back right after noon and got in within 7 minutes. I got exactly what I wanted:

12/24
CP 5:00
Garden Grill 6:50
Party of 5

I never dreamed there would be still be availability for Christmas Eve, so there is hope for those of you who still haven't made those ressies yet.:p

I was on hold this morning forever, but I think I got what we wanted the CP at 8:15 and Dinner at Garden Grill at 5:40. I see some of you who are going to the 8:15 have much earlier eating times. Is 5:40 too late. Also, they had to split my party up because no openings for 6 of us. Oh well.

Okay don't flame me please!:duck: :duck: :duck:

My DU agent got us what we wanted. Dinner 5:30 at the Biergarten and 8:15 show for November 27th!

I feel bad that so many of you had such long waiting times! Been there and done that last year; which is why this year we went with DU!

Wishing everyone the best of luck getting what they want!

Thanks for the info!!:teeth:
I will ask about them when we check in.

I have to admit I felt rather foolish worrying about making my CP ressies with all that they have to worry about down there.

Jodi - WHo is your DU agent? Mine's Tricia. Hoping to hear good news. I was going for the Biergarten on 12.6 around 5:00. I thinkit was you who helped me make up my mind in choosing the Biergarten for CP...can't wait!!

We are also going to LeCellier at 5pm with a show at 8:15. Last year we ate at Chef de France and loved it. I thought we would try something different. Do they take some of the more expensive steaks off the menu for the CL. I figured they would probably have to if they are only charging $44 a person and it includes appetiser and dessert ,gratitutity, tax. Anyone know? It seems to be a popular place to dine:)

Called at 2:19 pm CDT this afternoon and got a nice CM at 2:24 pm.

Got 6:45 pm show on 12/2. Eating at Nine Dragons at 4:30 pm. It was our first choice and I am happy.

Sorry to hear some of you aren't getting your first choice - I know it is tough if you need Christmas Eve/Day or want Le Cellier!

Best wishes -

That's really quite similar to what I did last Dec. I think our seating was at 5:45. It would have been perfect if I had known better than to just amble on back to WS, stopping here and there!! We were done eating by 6:45 but since I had to take my sweet time and do a little shopping along the way, by the time I got to the theater area, the line was already about 150 long...at 7:25!!! So, we ended up sitting in the uncovered area, about 2/3 of the way back. Not bad seats, unless it rains. Which it did not, thank heavens. So, we're eating at 4:40, and will be in the line at 7:15.

And as far as using DU goes....I'm not so sure our agent Shirley would be too happy to book CP for us this time around since we'll be staying DVC. That's the only 'problem' with using points and not staying in a regular DU reserved resort!!! I guess maybe I could have had MS do it for me, but I love the challenge of the hunt so to speak.
