You have to be 21 to do Priceline?!?!

I can't believe it! I just tried to do the hotel thing but it says you have to be 21....I'm afraid if I book a hotel room (which I thought you only had to be 18 and have a major CC to do) that I'll show up and they'll ask for age verification or something. Is there any way around it? Hello students are the ones in need of cheap hotel rooms and in Chicago they aren't cheap! I only need one night in Chicago in April and Hotels.com isn't less than $100 dang!

Most hotels in major cities now require you to be 21, I had been turned away many times (thankfully I brought over 21 friends as well)

Yep, in most states it is. Hotels don't want parties because of the noise and possibility of underage drinking. Because of this, some hotels require you to be at least 25 to rent a room. Also, hotels with casinos may not rent to anyone under 21 because you have to be 21 to enter the casino.

Back in high school some friends of mine tried to get a hotel room down in Florida. They couldn't because they weren't 21 and really, really mad over it. They tried everything to convince the hotel manager to let them reserve the room, but nothing worked. One of the girl's mom ended up getting the room for them.

This might sound like the dorky thing to do, but when I was in your situation I had my mom call and explain to the hotel manager my situation. I had to go to Nashville for a conference for work, and I was only 20 at the time. They made a note on my reservation, and it was all settled I didn't have any problem checking in.

my friend noticed that herself as she booked through priceline, she went to FL last month for spring break (ft lauderdale i think? or daytona not sure) and she called the hotel though and they said 18 was there rule so it was fine.

disney hotels... 18 ok? Because i plan to go in janurary but me and my buds will only be 19 then.

18 is fine for Disney....have fun
