The Smith's "Yes We Are Pulling DD Out of School Twice This Year" PTR!

You are not a bad PTR writer, life just gets in the way.

Next time you have a Disney trip, we are going to put you in a bubble for the 4 weeks before it.

Yay for meeting Jen!! I'm interested to know how tall Jen is too! She looks tall in her pictures.

You're not a bad PTR writer, life just gets in the way. It gets in the way of me the TR reader too!

Mmm I want to try a Lapu Lapu. What is in it? I assume rum and pineapple, mmmmm.

I'm sorry but the dream with Stacy made me seriously LOL :lmao: Why did she spit on you? Or was it just from her yelling?

Ouch on the injury! Does it hurt to walk on? What kind of torchure device was that? See, thats why I don't workout :rotfl:

:woohoo: I'm so excited we finally got to meet! Its been a long time coming! You did NOT look like crap. I thought you had gone swimming on that warm evening! :goodvibes
My work friend that was with us was the same way! He asked me who you were and I said we just met for the first time and he's like "so you hugged her?" :rotfl2: Then he thought I was crazy for chatting with someone online.

I'm 5'10". I didn't think you were that much shorter than me. It is a horrible experience shopping for pants. Never long enough! :rotfl:

I have to read more on Garden Grocery. Our first DVC trip in June I either want to use this or just hit Publix on the way to AKV. Hopefully you find some great tips/suggestions! :goodvibes

I'm 5'10" too! Although the doctor said I'm 5'9" now which is weird, maybe the old lady shrinking is already starting. :rotfl:

LL we have way to much in common! :rotfl:

Oooh you started your PTR I see, I'm heading over now! :goodvibes

Awe, I hope you are ok Kristine! I have started to have some Disney dreams, though I do not always remember what they are the next day. :rotfl:

I will be interested in reading about your experiences with Garden Grocers--I am thinking about ordering from them for our trip in September. :thumbsup2

That drink looks like it would be really good!:goodvibes

First and foremost...the Lapu Lapu recipe for home use ;)

Fresh Pineapple

1 ounce Myer's Rum

½ ounce Bacardi 151

Scorpion Mix (consists of half-and-half sour mix and orange juice)

Enough ice to chill it, crushed so it fits in the pineapple

Garnish: Cherry

Well I'm starting to think that getting the injury out of the way prevent injury AT WDW so I'm good with it :rotfl:

I'm 5'8 so I'm not *that* much shorter but you seemed so tall!

Non-DIS people just don't get it :rolleyes1

My cousin did Garden Grocery for school vaca week and it worked out perfectly. The hotel stores the delivery IN A FRIDGE until you arrive so nothing gets ruined if you get delayed. The prices are more expensive than here but about the same as Publix...and then you don't need to stop.

My ankle doesn't hurt right now to walk on but I *might* have worn mary jane crocs to work :rolleyes1 We'll see when I get to the gym.

Oh and Stacy spit on my because she was THAT mad that she missed rope drop. Honestly Stacy..if this happens...feel free to leave without us before you spit on me!

I'm 5'10" too! Although the doctor said I'm 5'9" now which is weird, maybe the old lady shrinking is already starting. :rotfl:

Um you shrinking really isn't NEWS ;) :rotfl:

LL started a PTR? For when? Didn't you put on FB like this weekend that you weren't going back?????

I'm fine! I'm just a mess! I'm a lefty and have femoral anteversion (born with hips turned the wrong way) so I swear that has a lot to do with it!

Here's hoping that this is the ONLY injury you will get before this trip.

I've used Garden Grocer's a couple of times. I've even ordered alcohol from them. The first time I didn't fax through my documentation showing that I was of age so I missed their delivery and they wouldn't leave my packages at the desk. But the driver left his cell number and in a matter of 30 minutes he was back with my order. He even carried it all for me up to my room.

The other times I have either not ordered alcohol or I faxed my info ahead of time so that my order was left at the desk. Everything was packed nicely and kept cool.

Once they did substitute my diet caffene free coke for a pepsi product instead. I know some people are really picky so I would state NO substitutions on the order form.

Since I never rent a car, the price of delivery was less than a taxi. So I saved time, and really and truly tons of money because if I was let loose in a 24 hour walmart I would buy a whole lot more than what was on my list.

OK, I am a little offended that you think I would really spit on you!!!! Didn't we pretty much make rope drop all days of our vacation together? I am sure it won't be a big deal this time though because we have ZERO plans and plenty of time to get them done!

And you forgot the part about me not giving Ash the clothes, making her wear muslin with paint from my art room on it. . . (which I must say, would probably look pretty fab). No more talking to you while I shop for paint!

I hope you are not spreading the vicious and unfounded rumors to Randy- he doesn't a bad impression of me even before he meets me! For all I know, you have told him that I plan for him to be the fastpass runner AND the pack mule- which may or may not have come up in conversation, but NOT from ME!!! ;0)

hmmmm weird. I wonder if that is because you are international? My cousin ordered beer no problem. They just called to make sure she really wanted it (she requested it in the notes section) and they were not there when the delivery arrived.

Of course I told Randy he was going to be the pack mule and FP runner :rotfl2:

Sadly not having a very Disney spirited evening. Right now I wish I was in CA with my BFF so I could take good care of her.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about the injury! I hope it's getting better and not worse. And how exciting that you had an impromptu DIS meet! It always seems to be that we run into people when we're not made up, doesn't it? :sad2:

 To you and your BFF.

Thank you...she lost her son (she was 6 months along). So hard not to be mad at God at a time like this. But then a mutual friend who flies a LOT offered to give me frequent flier miles so I could get out there. It reminded me of how truly blessed I am. Not that I still don't have a broken heart but it really made me feel a lot better

To get over my nerves...I sewed. I finally made Aisling's Sea World dress with the crazy fabric she picked out. Won't be losing her! Here is my toothless model!

I will definitely be keeping your friend in my prayers. I hope she (and you) can find a peace about the situation soon.

And Aisling's SeaWorld dress is so cute! :lovestruc I agree - it will definitely be easy to keep track of her in that! :thumbsup2

I'm sorry about your friend.

Happy Mother's Day to all my mommy friends...those who have babies, who want babies, who have furbabies, and those who care for plants ;)

18 days!!!!!!

so sorry for your friend. When are you going to visit her?

I can't wait for this trip! In my weird vacation math, we only really have 2 weeks left! We leave middle of the week, so it doesn't really count. :)

oh and in 19 days, we can take a repeat of this pic!! Though, I bet the kids won't want to sit with us.

I might be going today. Who knows. Waiting for her to call back. I'm only going to go if she needs help. I don't want to be a nusance. Either way I have to go to the airport today. My mom is coming home from Italy tonight.

I like your fuzzy math. Two and a half weeks isn't so bad either. ;)
