It is supposed to by Christian and Clayton. That info came directly from Clayton today. Of course anything can change.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and I am so excited to get started planning this cruise.
Cool, Ive never met Clinton, thats what brent said, but I had forgot the clayton bit.
Hi everyone! My wife and son are excited to join all of you on this fabulous cruise. We just made our reservation a couple of days ago thanks to Cindy Girl who talked us into it.

We would definitely like to participate in FE and SM if we still can. I had no idea before today what an FE was but now I can't wait.

Now to figure out what excursions we want to do!

See you all around!
Welcome from sunny scotland,lol not,
ok so I did just say it out loud PLAPLAPLAPLAPA oh it has been a crazy day!
:lmao::lmao::lmao: take a deep breath
Well bags are packed, DME tags are on, and decision has been made how to get to Orlando. Now I have to wake up at 3AM fly cross country and I still plan on going to extra Magic Hours at DHS.

Have fun Alan, will be thinking about you.

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Surely we can reach 250 posts today, if everyone applies themselves :)

ARUBA (copied from the first page)
One of my room mates, who has been to Aruba before, recommends the Banana Bus tour http://www.bananabusaruba.com/ Please note they offer two tours - night time bar hopping and day time sightseeing. WE ARE LOOKING AT THE DAYTIME SIGHTSEEING TOUR!!!!

The website says they tour Tuesday through Saturday and we'll be in Aruba on Monday. I emailed with them and they say if enough people sign up for a tour on Monday, they will run one. Apparently it is not necessary to pay to sign up - they didn't ask for my CC#. If anyone is interested in this non-Disney excursion option, please visit the Banana Bus website and sign up. In the comment section put "Disboard group" It includes a visit to "baby beach". No one has signed up except my three as if 9/27.

If you're interested in this tour, please pm me!

There's no sense in signing up for it if we can't get 15 people. Please PM if you are interested!

We have only 6 people interested. Since the general booking date is fast approaching, If we don't reach 15 people by the end of the week, I will pull this excursion on Friday. That way people will still have the opportunity to sign up for the Disney sponsored excursion, if they wish.

I finished making my FE gifts and want to put them into plastic bags but there are so many without cabin numbers I will have to wait. I hope they do it soon.

As far as the CD for this cruise -on the TA Clayton told me he would be on the PC-wether it is CD or assistant I don't know.

Has anything been decided about a pre cruise meet near the port?

Getting ready for a 5 day stay at Ft Wilderness with my Mom and son! I spent most if the weekend installing a new flat panel TV in the bedroom so at least the RV is ready even if I am not! I even went to Wallgteens to get some Disney Halloween decorations to make the site look festive! Can't wait! Anyone else going to Disney this weekend?

DH and I did the EBTA and first Med this year, and heard the same thing. We left them at Guest Services, and after 11 ports, we had 0 passport stamps. We checked frequently with Guest Services, but were always told it wasn't done. It is not Disney's decision, but the local port official who clears the ship. I would definately try for it, but I just wanted to tell you my experience.

Thanks for sharing. I had heard mixed experiences from other DISers before thats why I'm not holding my breath. On my Eastern cruise this year, I took our passports with us to St. Maarten hoping to find the place to get them on our own (that is what we did in Nassau, very easy to do), but there was no such place, and when I got back on board the ship I asked if they would have been able to get it and they said yes that we would have had to drop them off the night before and they get them. So I was so bummed. I guess for this trip I'll try to do some research about where I could get my own stamp and if I cant find anything online, I'll leave at Guest Services and expect nothing but be pleasantly surprised if we get something.

For those of you who have done the WB PC cruises before, do we at least get a stamp in LA at customs or do they just glance and pass you on like at Port Canaveral? All the times I've returned to the US from abroad I have landed in the East Coast so I would love a West Coast entry stamp!

They seem to do room allocations about 45 days out. It always seems an age when you are GTY and in a lifeboat!!!;)

Yes it does!!! Although the chances are highly unlikely I would get a room assignment months out, I have been looking several times a week because every once in awhile, someone will mention getting their assignment at an unexpected time.

We left ours with Guest Services on the 11 night Southern Caribbean in '06 and I'm pretty sure we got stamps for each port we visited. I wished we could have done that on the Baltic this summer, but there were several ports we had to carry them with us anyway so we still ended up stamps from several of those ports.

You have an awesome trip! I could use a trip to the world about now but alas, that is not going to happen.

Happy Monday - and how nice that it is a good Monday for Lynne ;), not of the back to work grind kind.

Yes it is funny that random room assignments happen. I too would always be checking just in case.

There were so many of us GTY on the 08 WBPC that we allocated ourselves lifeboats, and someone made special printed T shirts with lifeboat crew on and a great graphic. All helped with the waiting. Lots of fun banter too!!!:lmao:

Do we have a headcount for kids?? My DD wants to do a FE gift just for kids -

Also we are adding 8 to the banana bus tour today.

and 8 to the ziplining.

Trying to get my behind in gear. Big horse show this weekend slowed me down!

This is the first time we've been GTY and the waiting is just killing me. We're also waitlisted for a suite, so I keep checking everyday (sometimes more than once) to see if anything has changed or if any suites have opened up that for some reason our waitlist might not have caught.

Just doing my part :goodvibes

Also trying to do my part, but I took time to sleep last night and go to the gym this morning and I am having a hard time keeping up with everything people are talking about.

Very funny:rotfl2::rotfl2: Know exactly what you mean about checking for room assignment, ours have never come before the 45 day mark, though. This time we are fortunate and got a room assignment when we booked.

Alan, have fun at WDW and your B2B. We can't wait to get on the Wonder on Sunday and sail away.

Did any california discount ever come out? I'd sure like to snag one for cousin Iola! (She's from CA)
