I’m a lucky bug……er a lucky Mom!!

Oh cool! That isn't so bad I guess. I need to figure that out now. :scared: Thank you!

Bummer on no villian stickers. But your binder looks really cute with princess stickers.

Like others have said, you can get magical express to and from airport and hotel, you just have to call them when you get your airfare confirmation number and add it . Very simple

That's great news about the Magical Express!! Thank you ladies!!

Good Morning!!

Kacy has the cruise bug now. We haven't even cruised yet and she is planning our next one. Alaska!! Okay, I fought it, I resisted, and then I started relenting!:yo-yo: I told her that she needs to wait to book it at least until she knows how much she likes this cruise. Oh to be young and have no overhead.

It hit me earlier, we hit 10 months yesterday!! Woo hoo!!:flower1::flower1::flower1:

Hiya!!

Lists, lists, I need to make lists. I feel almost like I need to make lists of the lists that I need to make. I know that we need to get passports. I really debated on this. I decided that I would rather just get the card passport. I really have no need for the book passport. So, I guess that would be on the top of my to do list. Ta da! pixiedust: A list is born! Since I have never flown, I really needed to know what I can and cannot carry in my suitcase. Like for instance liquid body soap. I need to google this. Thus another thing for my list!! Yay!! :sail:The list is flowing now that I have sat down to be on the boards.

If you are doing on carry on bags then it is the 311 rule 3 oz bottles in 1 quart size bag per 1 person. If you check your bags it's more flexible.

We decided to get actual passports in case of an emergency. (I don't know much about the cards.)

Yay for lists!!

Passport definitely on top of the list for sure

I didn't realize you have never flown before. If you do pack liquid soap in your checked luggage, I would put it in ziploc bag just in case it opens.
For your carryone, like above poster said you can only take on liquids 3oz or less and must be in a quart size bag like ziploc. no drinks until after you get through security.

Okay, thank you. I'm still in the deciding mode. I believe that if I can I will get my passport book because we are planning a cruise where we are going to leave from Vancouver, Canada so we will need a passport to fly into there.

Three oz bottles aren't much. I know that if we need more on the cruise we only need to ask.

Honestly I have flown but it's been years since I flew. I have flown back and forth to San Diego a few times. It's been years! I put everything in ziplocs when I travel. I don't want anything on my clothes.

party:We are at 299 days!! Under 300!! Woo hoo!! party:

I stepped up my exercises. I have been working on weight loss but today I added more exercise. I figure that the whole trip will add calories that I don't normally have. I'm a little sore right now but I need to keep this up and increase every few days. I am planning to to come home and hit our heavy bag after I get home from picking Kacy up from work. Now I need to stick to my plan. :dogdance:

Oh yes, pack any liquids or lotions in ziplock bags. I learned that the hard way once with my lotion

Great job on the exercises! Starting now will give you plenty of time before the trip!

It's my biggest fear to get somewhere and have a favorite shirt or something covered in lotion. What about tubes of lotion? I like to carry a small tube with me. Is that cool?

Thank you. It's hard getting into a routine but, I've done this before and I can do it again.

Good job with the exercises. I promised myself I would get back at it this week.

We have a heavy bag in our garage and I forgot how much I enjoy hitting it. I put my headphones in my ears and just started punching away. Then I cooled down by dancing. I just need to make myself a workout set with a cool down set. I tried exercising to the soundtrack to Guardians of the Galaxy and Cherry Bomb is a great rhythm for the bag, but not all of the songs are. It's all trial and error.

Yep, you can take anything under 3oz with you on the plane. Just have it in a quart size ziplock. I take all sorts of things on the plane with the kids and have never had a problem.

I can't remember if you're staying in a Studio or 1 Bedroom Villa? You'll have a washer/dryer if you're staying in the 1 bedroom so it's nice to take Tide Pods for doing laundry. They do provide 1 package of Tide but it's nice to have the pods if you want to do more than one load.

Cool! I will need to get quart size bags. I always have the sandwich size and gallon size. There are so many things I want to take in the carry on. We are staying overnight near the airport and then going to the cruise because we want to pick up a few things to take onboard like maybe adult beverages.

We have the two bedroom. I hadn't thought about the pods. Can I put those in a bag in my luggage? Also I need to remember dryer sheets.

Upon research I've learned that we can't bring a power bar on the ship. Now with cameras, cell phones, iPods, etc that are charged with a USB cord I found this handy gadget. They are allowed. It comes with a surge protector in the cord too. They had it as something on sale on Amazon Prime the other day.

I've been testing it today and it will charge my tablet too. So, I like it!
