Disney Tattoos

I have 2 tattoos. Both are Disney....I decided that's all I would be interested in doing for Tattoo because it's part of me LOL (well besides my kiddos, which I haven't gotten yet, but will still be tied into another Disney tattoo LOL)! My first was Tink and then my 2nd was "peace, love, mickey mouse"

I'm still working on my designs. I keep switching from my arm, to my neck (behind the ear) to my hand. Decisions are driving me nuts! I think my daughter is going to get hers first. She wants hers before we go to Disney in November. We spent tons of time looking online for the artist we like. I do believe we found one, but will interview first. Any suggestions as to what to look for in the shop itself?

The colors are so vibrant! Have you noticed any fading since u first got them?

Well...I have found my Tattoo artist. Only 45 minutes away. I went and checked out the place. It's clean. There were lots of people in there doing sketches (some interns) and the receptionist was smiling and helpful. The owner sat with me and went through the process for sanitation that they follow. He said all of his artists were really good. There are four of them. He showed me their work on his big screen computer. I had looked up their work prior to checking the place out and I was very impressed already. I had gone to one other studio and it smelled like black mold, very bad. Ruled that place out right off. So, I have a studio and an artist I like. Now...if I could only complete my vision of what I want and where I want it. It is a very big decision. I love all the tats in here, they are amazing!

Getting more work on my Little Mermaid half sleeve this weekend, cannot wait!!! I'm already planning on adding on to it as well as other Disney tattoos. I'll post pics early next week. Love seeing how many others have Disney tattoos on this thread.

I got a couple more Disney ones last week.

Being an Epcot geek, and to go with my Epcot logo/symbol one, I designed a abstract pattern based on the Spaceship Earth tiles to go next to it:

And whilst I was there, I filled a gap on the back of my leg with one I've been wanting for a while. I have seen a couple similar to this, but designed my own outer border and took the Mickey image from the original film.

I'm quite happy how they both turned out

Just had this done last night

Now this is a good tattoo... Lovely line work and shading. I know having flat colour is more akin to the cartoons these tattoos are based on but I just think a tattoo with flat colour doesn't look as appealing as ones with shading.

Sorry, these aren't the best pictures, I really need to take them on a camera and not my horrible phone. They came out a bit faded, but they're not at all. All of the color has actually held very well, so it's the lighting in the photos that makes them look faded. And Ariel's hair was just re-outlined as well, so that's why it looks so bold. There's still so much more work to do, but we're getting there!

Yesterday I had most of the tentacles done which were done on the inside of my bicep and elbow. Would have gotten more done but my tattoo artist had somewhere to be and had to cut it short . I have another appointment in 3 weeks! But I think we have at least 6-10 more until I'm done as we still have lots of room on my arm to fill in. I love how the sea horses came out, there were just faded outlines since the beginning, I had no idea they were going to be colored in so cutely!
