I love credit cards so much!

Bought a VCG at Giant fine with a credit card. Go to get the MO and the cashier doesn’t ask to see the card so I swipe. After I swipe she says no giftcards!! I still don’t know how she saw the card. I was covering it with my regular debit card until the last possible second. I’ll try a few other stores. MSing is hard work, but I want these SPG points. I’m sure as soon as I find an avenue this will be much easier.

i believe it has to be with a Business Relations Manager for the 100k. they will question you about your business. If you have a "business" its better to apply online.

This is fantastic! I wasn’t even planning on trying a Walmart. I have lots of different grocery stores and a few Walmart’s so I’m sure one will eventually work.

SO got approved for the CIP!! I had to check the status since they wanted proof of our new address. It took awhile, but he was finally approved. My refer a friend UR isn’t pending yet, but that can take 8 weeks right? I plan on also getting him the SPG after I find a good MS avenue. I have about a week before the offer expires. I’m looking at 19k in spend between the two SPG business and the CIP in three months. YIKES!

The theory on r/churning is that referral URs post once weekly. Typically they post on Tuesday afternoon/evening but that can vary.

At day 3, Chase pay told me I earned Gold and I received an email from Starbucks saying I was now Gold. But no stars and I am past 5 days. You didn't even get the stars since you are already gold? That would stink. At least if you got the stars, you get two rewards, right?

@DisneyMandC saw your post in the MVMCP thread. I'll be at the party Nov 8 too. I'm there Nov 2-9 and solo from Mon or Tues I think. Tickets won't sell out right away and technically aren't refundable but I've read that people have got them when they call.

I could see your account and I saw that the Stars were added successfully onto your account and that now you have Gold status, my recommendation is to refresh your account in order to see them.
Now, as part of the benefits you receive with your gold account, every time you reach 125 stars you will be able to redeem a Reward and get a free drink or food item.

In addition to this, you will receive a personalized gold card in the mail. It can take up to six weeks for your personalized Gold card to arrive. If it does not arrive by that time, please let us know and we can issue a replacement. However, you can still earn Stars and Rewards by continuing to use any Starbucks Card registered to your Gold Level account.

What?? How does one refresh an app? I have closed it and re-opened it multiple times and swiped down? Still same 34 stars I had before. I have checked the desktop site multiple times. Same stars. My account does say I'm gold and if you go into the history, it says I earned 300 stars. But nothing about any extra rewards. Says I need to earn 266 stars by 3/17/19 for another year of Gold.

Am I missing something?

You got the 300 stars and basically they are used to purchase your gold status. Now, when you get stars they will build up and will not disappear from your account unless they expire or you lose your status and as a gold member you can get free items for 125 stars. So, next time an offer comes around or you make a starbucks purchase you will start being able to build up 125 stars for a free item. Sucks that they do this (and honestly my Starbucks habit is kinda bad so I totally forgot this was even a thing having been gold longer than I care to admit). On the bright side, given the prevalence of ChasePay Best Buy deals I don't see why we won't see this sort of offer again and then you'll be able to get free drinks out of it. Not what you wanted to hear I know

Congratulations! I know this was a tough one, but those sweet UR points are on their way!

Chase “support” bonuses generally post on Tuesday around 3 p.m. (some report 6 p.m.) ET, 5-10 days after approval. So if SO was approved too close to this coming Tuesday, the bonus should show up next week.

Oh OK. I misunderstood. I thought people were earning two rewards from the 300 stars. I probably wouldn't have bothered had I realized that. I go to Starbucks maybe 4x a year.

Thanks for that!! I saw you over there too! I rarely post in the Theme Parks board but didn't want to totally disrupt the flow. I'm going to talk it over with DH and see, even though, I texted him earlier to saw we should go and he had no problems with it. If we take the flight down there on the 8th that I'm thinking we'll get, we should arrive at MCO at 2:30 which will give us plenty of time to get to BCV and checked in and head to MK.

If it all works out, we should make plans closer to then to meet up!

I visit Starbucks enough that I maintain gold status without even thinking about it. But 2 rewards would've been a lot more useful than gold status if you're like @wendow and only visit a few times a year. I'm so sorry @wendow.

I'll add a little data point to this. I accidentally connected both mine and DW's Chase Pay accounts to my Starbucks account so I got 600 Stars added to my Starbucks account.

Ugh, mine too! I'm part time and work 2x 12 hour shifts a week but I put them together so I do a 4 on, week off, 2 on, 9 off pattern. I have lots of time to play with. He, on the other hand, is a M thru F guy with 3 weeks vacation per year and it's really harshing my style! Next June marks his 10 years so he will get a 4th week so we have something to look forward. And don't get me started on my kids and their school schedule! I'm going back to homeschooling after next school year.

What I hate is that our school district hasn’t even approved 2018-2019 calendar yet. So we don’t even know when the first day of school is next year, let alon Christmas or Spring breaks. I booked a cruise for May 2019 based on the fact that last day of school this year is before Memorial Day and the high school district has approved their calendar for 2018-19 with same. Fingers crossed.
