I have gotten the automated message 4x this AM and every time the call has disconnect/dropped from them. It did state if
you were arriving in next two weeks to stay on hold and for all other reservations beyond that to call back later. I want to cancel,
but cannot do so online. I wish DVC would send those with reservations some communication on what our options are the next two weeks while the parks are closed. I do not trust the resorts will stay open that entire time if too many people cancel and would want reassurance that dining/shopping would be available.
 
120+ attempts and busy signal. I actual phones with redial.

I'd cancel online if I knew what would happen with my dining plan, especially since I paid using Disney giftcards
 


Is there any online option to cancel and put points in holding? We are set to arrive 3/21.

We planned to arrive in the middle of next week and I am praying they will be kind with point return. My contracts are going to be in a tangle. The upcoming trip is using by banked 2019 points and my summer trip is using some borrowed from 2021. So even if they don't put my points into holding, they need to be applied to the summer trip... and then what about the fact that I had to borrow?!

I made it through the busy signal and am on hold.🤞
 


We're supposed to check in tomorrow for a 8 night, 3-way split stay. I wish I could get through, because we're actually in Florida already for work purposes and would like to spend 2 nights at Vero before driving back north.

Also trying to get through on phone line, but don't think we should have to rely upon Disney Magic in these circumstances. I am not saying this was in any way Disney's fault, just that not requiring points to go into holding for reservations next week (like ours) should be the standard, not a special accommodation given the circumstances of the Parks being closed. I also, for the moment, have every expectation that this will be the case.

Mine are in holding. I am trying to call to rebook for June.
 
argh! I got the "Welcome Home" audio clip, then it went silent and the busy signal started!
 
Woohoo - only a ~75 minute wait time!! This my friends is where the deficiencies abound.
 
I got through. Cancelled 3 reservations that were to start next week. Normal points (about 600) went back into this year which I can bank by May 31st. 22 points that were borrowed, went into holding. I didn't mind the 22 in holding and really didn't care to discuss putting those back into this year. Happy with the outcome but very sad to cancel.
