We really have been missing the worst of the weather... until this week with the cold. No big snows forecast though.

If you are going to work at 0545, do you work in the medical field? I've been on meetings since 0600. The joys of working in Periop at a big academic medical center.

I really do not like our summer weather. I love Fall the most, then winter but I have seasonal allergies so... lol

Our Summers can be bad. People don't believe me when I tell them it is hotter in StL than at the Fort. We haven't been getting much of a Spring or Fall lately though. Quick transitions from hot-cold and back. And you are more than welcome to keep the Winters.

Today is work. I have had a ton of meetings. Bert is having a better day than yesterday. It is 3:30 now and HOT. We do have to cook dinner. I am hoping though i can finish work by 5:30 today. The good news is tomorrow is my Friday. We work again but last day of the week. Still watching the weather for the drive. I have a feeling we will decide on Thursday morning since till then nothing much changes. Regardless of Friday or Sat we have rain but the issue is will it be ice.

We are expecting our worse weather since the 80's this week-end into next week. The weather man shows low 20's all next week at night & not much warmer during the day. Pray they are wrong.
Thank y'all on the bad weather this week & glad no tornadoes. I am like Mallory, we don't care for thunderstorms & high winds.

bert cooked dinner, on the grill of course. We had chicken marinaded in a Tony’s marinade. It is really good, but have not seen it in atlanta. Included was grilled broccoli also seasoned with Tony’s more spice seasoning. It was a Tony’s kind of night. Then went to crocket’s for a drink. The only two rockers on the porch were empty so I claimed them while bert got drinks. Mallory had a great time looking off that porch. Pics are in the kickin it thread.

tomorrow we work and keep watching the weather.

@WeLovePluto the local changes a lot. It was supposed to rain this week and it has not except a tiny bit in the morning. I will hope it stays clear for you. Right now the weather in atlanta while still sucks at cold and rainy has changed the low on sat from 19 to 35 and that is a big deal. Will probably still decide tomorrow morning but looking like we will stay till Sat.

yeah, I figure Orlando and New Orleans rain patters are pretty similar. And that anything more than a couple days out is a wild guess.

We needed an extra dinner. Actually had planned another trip to the grocery store but have just enough to get by except we needed one night of dinner. So we booked a ressie tonight at Disney Springs. One of @bama_ed favorite. We are going to Raglan Road.

When you get to the RR podium and check in, ask the host to assign you a table in the main (dining) room which is where the music and dancing occurs. The first time I was at RR I got shunted into a side room (and seated with my back to the main dining room) where the side room only has a partial view (if you are lucky to be facing the right way which I wasn't). The host has told us in the past that we would have to wait a few minutes for a main room table (a common request) but trust me it's worth it - and the food is pretty good too!

@garneska has me all hyped up now, jbrostek. I'll be camping down at Jetty Park/Port Canaveral next month and made an ADR at RR for one evening (no Disney parks). I may have to drift over and look at the menu tonight to see what Bert and Kris (and likely me and DW) will have to choose from).
