Considering a holiday should be fun and stress free, trying to grab and pay for fp's and sticking your head in your phone for most of the day does not sound fun.
In France it's called 'Access Premium' in the Netherlands it's called 'VIP access' on Disney+. Disneyland Paris has a minimum of 6 languages they communicate in, French, English, Dutch, Spanis, German and Italian. There is no name that would not cause confusion in some way in one of the languages. Can we talk about how dumb the name Disney Premier Access is for a fastpass type program, especially when they already use Disney+ Premier Access?
Disney has a long history of taking care of on site guests. I’d urge everyone keeping the faith for a little while longer.Surely they’ll be a lot of surly on site guests if they don’t give them something.
I definitely miss those days. I actually loved running around the park with my brother (or by myself after he went to college) grabbing fast passes for my parents and I, while they relaxed with a coffee. In the old days of paper FP, you had to play a similar game, except not on your phone. There were large boards in certain places in the parks that showed current FP return times for the major rides. To get a FP you had to literally run all the way to the ride to get your paper FP, and your return time was nearly always later by then. We’d send one designated runner to do this for our whole party. It was pain, and you never knew if you were going to get to experience your favorite rides that day, because some FPs sold out early.
The great thing was that if you had to leave the park early and still had an in-demand paper FP, you could just give it to someone entering the park! That was a fun way to spread a little pixie dust.

I think all guests will get one. And APs will get some additional.I think there will be a slightly altered version of this rolled out for Walt Disney World. The only difference is that resort guests (depending on resort type) will be allocated anywhere from 1 to 3 complimentary ones to start off with. Here's my prediction:
- Non-Good Neighbor Offsite: 0 "Complimentary" FastPasses
- Value, Good Neighbor Resorts, and Annual Passes: 1 "Complimentary" FastPass Per Day
- Moderate Resorts: 2 "Complimentary" FastPasses Per Day
- Deluxe Resorts: 3 "Complimentary" FastPasses Per Day
Each tier would then be able to buy extra fast passes at any point if they want to move quicker through the lines. I'm not saying I'm a fan of this, but reading into everything else they are doing seems to point to a tiered-setup like this.
I mean what's next? Are we going to have to start buying bus tickets for the buses?
Maybe the old fashioned pay toilets will make a come back LOLYea with fluid pricing. Rope dropping? Sorry, price just went up $100 a ride

Are you forgetting the paid Express Transportation for park hopping they tried a few years back?
