Booked! 10/02/2016 to 10/9/2016 at Pop Century. CinderElsa can you please change my resort we were going to stay at the CBR we have decided to change to the POP Century.

We stay at Pop during SWW & really value the closer room after a long day of walking around a park. We may not need much in terms of amenities during those trips, but saving even two minutes of walking is worth the extra cash to me!

Yeah, I may keep it. We stayed preferred our first trip and it was really nice. I didn't bother for our quick trip in 2013 (only two nights) and it was a bit of a hike. Doing it twice was okay but on a nine night stay it might get old fast.

Its definitely worth it to me, if not only for the fact that we dont bring our refillable mugs to the park and its a PITA to go back the room, then make the trip to Classic Hall and back just for a drink if your room is far away. We found our selves spending more money on drinks in the park on our way out because we were too lazy after a long day to go fill our mugs lol

There was one night where I'd gone back to a park alone (DD and her friend were too tired) and I called DD from the bus and told her if she met me at the food court with my mug I'd buy her a snack. And that was at POFQ, where we were as far away as it was possible to be, and it was still only a five minute walk.

After a long day in the parks, anything farther than the shortest route from the bus stop to my bed is too long lol

My son will probably be a super hero and my DH and my self, we will be pirates.

We dressed up last time (I made tutus and I was Snow White and my daughter was Rapunzel) but I'm not sure if we're going to dress up next year.

This year we're going as Alice & the Mad Hatter but next year's trip will be with my mom and I doubt she's going to want to dress up, sadly. In a way, it's nice for me, because I can be whatever I want & I don't have to coordinate with anybody...

October 2 through October 8, 2016 - We are staying at Art of Animation in a Little Mermaid room. Booked yesterday!

It's just me and my daughter - we are planning on doing MNSSHP. I'll be dressed as the Tightrope Girl from the Haunted Mansion. My daughter will be one of the princesses.

Joining in - we will be at CSR 26 Oct through 5 Nov 2016 to celebrate Halloween and the boy's double digit birthday. He will turn 10 while we are there!

October 22 - 29 (2016) at The Beach Club. Everyone's all grown up now, so the five of us - my daughter, my son-in-law, my granddaughter, grandson and I - have booked a two-bedroom suite. I began that project on Day Minus-499 with the two days that the system allowed me to book and then added the remaining five nights ... one night ... one day ... at a time ...

Added our Park Hopper Tickets and Memory Maker on the 22nd. But, this time (for the first time ever), we're thinking of paying cash for our meals and drinks rather than buying a Dining Plan. There have just been too many evenings when I would rather have had a soothing cocktail (or glass of wine) than another too-much appetizer - or dessert - at dinner.

We've been before in October (staying at The Beach Club) and loved it. But, by the time we arrive, it wiil have been thirteen years since our last visit to WDW. So, we're expecting some significant changes and would love to hear what all of you who've been more recently feel we'll notice the most.

No idea yet, but I think I'm going to let the DGF decide. Anyone have any suggestions.
