Spring, allergies, sinus infection, roll out of a hospital wide project I've been working on for the last year and a half with a team of nurses and the research, etc to go with the roll out...keeping up with home stuff, taxes etc...all have lead to a very busy spring. Morgan now is moved out of the dorms and into an apartment in Norfolk with a friend and looking for a job as well as the demands of her double majors.

Yes a pretrip report ...maybe it will be started before I get plane tickets. It is a December trip for the DISpalooza(spelling is not my thing!!)

Hey everybody!! I am back. Since our trip, three neighbors have died, my brother found a job and then interviewed and got another job which he starts tomorrow. My job has entered the busy season and there have been 5 funerals in our church and since our church only has about 40 people in attendance that is a lot of people. The roll out of the project I have been working on happened successfully May 1st and now we are getting ready for the ICU and PACU part of the roll out.
In the middle of all of this we managed to go see Morgan at her new apartment and went to DC for a weekend. It has been busy but I have gotten another installment done and have gotten a pretrippie started for December but I just need to post it.

Wednesday January 7, Hump Day-Only Two Days Left

Animal Kingdom Extra Magic Morning, Shopping at DTD and Epcot Evening-Part 3 Can we do it? Eat Our Way Around the World.

Well we didn’t eat at DTD. We were hungry but wanted to get to Epcot so we drove, worked to find a handicapped parking spot. We got through the entrance and headed to our first FP+ after a couple of photos. [/URL

Yes this Strawberry Shortcake was huge and to die for. We also split a chicken ceasar salad. After this we headed to Imagination Pavillion and met with Figment and saw Captian E0.

After this we headed to World showcase to eat our way around the world. We started with the Mexico Paviliion and had nachos and cheese from the quick service place then went to Norway and had something chocolate. From there it was to China where we had pot stickers, and a couple of other things. Cant remember but I know they were good and they were from the cart.







I also know we stopped in German and split a pretzel then in the US went to the American Adventure. Morgan had never seen this show and our legs were tired. We enjoyed this.

These lanterns in the American Adventure were very cool. They told stories and there were pictures in the flames.



We moved on to Italy and France. Before France we went into Japan and the department store. We watched people pick pearls for quite a while.[/URL

In France we went to the bakery and got three things that ended up being breakfast the next morning.

We got fish and chips from England and took them to the handicapped Illuminations viewing spots. These were the best item of the night. There were three pieces of fish with fries. We only got one order but in retrospect we should have gotten 2 orders. The fish pieces were crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside and the fries were so good that there were none left. We all thought theses fish and chips were better than the ones at Raglan Road.

Illuminations is my favorite nighttime show. The only Problem with it is taking pictures. I never get really good pictures.

Thanks on the pics. I love Illuminations. Can't wait to see the holiday version. All of our food was less than 50 dollars. It was good. We enjoyed what we ate and we shared each item we purchased.

We love to travel together!! Morgan is a lot of help with Mom. We like our Disney clothing too!! It is all clearance from the Disney store online or the Disney outlet!! I never pay full price!!

Boo Hoo!! Last day is here and Magic Kingdom It Is – Thursday January 8-Part 1


Today is a big day. Our plans have us in the Magic Kingdom today, a DIS meet tonight and dinner to celebrate my birthday at California Grill. Sometime we need to pack up to go home leaving early in the am.

We begin the day with breakfast from the bakery in France at World showcase.[/URL

After our very healthy breakfast we drove to the Magic Kingdom. We didn’t make it for rope drop but we did get in just after the early opening about 8:15.[/URL

From the handicapped lot we went to the Ferry to the Magic Kingdom. The ride was cool (weather wise) but also cool to see the construction at the Poly.

After our ride over, we headed to Fantasyland. We went to It’s a small world, the Mickeys philharmagic, and the carousel.

Then we headed to our first fast pass.



Space Mountain. Mom sat in the sun wrapped in a blanket while Morgan and I rode. I came out and my teeth hurt. I looked at Morgan and said, “Never again!!” Morgan took Mom’s fast pass and rode again…and then in the standby line and rode again. Mom and stuck to shopping!!
