I got the cream puff last September and I didn't like it at all, and I love cream puffs. I haven't had the cupcakes but I work in a cupcake shop so I don't really do a lot of cupcakes as I get them all the time! (I did have a cupcake from starring rolls and it was AMAZING)

I can see why you wouldn't want to do cupcakes all that often! LOL I really, really, really enjoyed my strawberry cupcake though, but I think that was the only cupcake I've ever bought at Disney. If I've bought others, they haven't stood out in memory! I am picky with icing though, I don't like the giant pile of icing that some cupcakes have, so that's a turn off and I'll try something else usually.

One week from today and I'll be standing in line for Magical Express! (Or maybe on it, who knows! Once it took us about 3 hours to get to the resort, but that was our fault, I lost my sister and our friend, then we got food and then we went to DME. And then on my next trip, my flight was scheduled to land at 11:40 am and I was at the hotel by 12:23! I think my flight must have landed a few minutes early or something! Well, it had to have because I was getting on my DME bus at 11:43 according to my pictures from that trip. LOL)

Anyways, back to THIS trip report now!

I think we were hungry for real food by then, so off we went to search for food.

We went to Backlot Express. I know we ate there at some point of the trip, so this must have been it! I don't have a receipt for it or anything though, so I can't tell you what I ate or anything.

We took a bus directly from DHS to AK. That was weird because we didn’t think they did that. I don’t know how long it took for a bus, but I have a picture inside the Dinosaur queue at 2pm.

Just off Dinosaur and we were slowly walking out. I remember someone kept trying to take their stroller beyond where they were allowed. It irritates me when people don't think rules apply to them! (oops, or was that at Star Tours? Same sentiments apply, I just can't remember where it happened!)

We wanted a snack before the Finding Nemo show. Blanche got a treat from one of the carts and I got some ice cream. If I remember correctly, we looked at this cart, then walked around to look at treats, got my ice cream and then came back and she got her treat from here! I can't remember if she got the lemonade or the Dibs. Hey, I just noticed the orangeade... is that any good?

They wouldn’t even let us in the line with our food. I was sad. I understand not eating in the theatre, but I could have finished my ice cream before I got into the building that pathway is so winding. The ice cream was quickly finished and we got in line, after being entertained by the CM outside (not the one who wouldn’t let us in, but the one beside her). He was so funny! He kept yelling out things like, “Come on in and see Light’s Motors Action” or some other show.

I love all these little signs in the queue.

Once we were inside, the CM came in and entertained us some more. He would tell people that they forgot their 3d glasses, and that it was not included in admission, that they needed more money. I can’t remember everything else, but he seriously made me laugh out loud… many times! I regret not taking a picture of him! If I find him again, I will definitely take a picture!

This was my third time seeing this show, but my first time trying to take pictures. How many pictures do you think? LOL

My first time seeing this, or seeing pictures on line first, I was not impressed with seeing the puppeteers. Now that I've seen it a few times, I love it. I love seeing the puppeteers expressions and movements along with the puppets. It's fascinating to see how they can manage to do all that at once, sing, move the puppet, move themselves etc.

I just got tired of waiting for a FP time to open up, so I tried to get in to the first Fantasmic. They announced that it was standing room only. I kept going because I figured that since I was solo, I might be able to find something. Then before I got to the top, they announced that it was full and that no one else would be admitted. So I left. I just couldn’t wait for the next show. I didn’t make it. I was so sad.

So sad that I didn't take any pictures while leaving Hollywood Studios!

After the sad, depressing, last Disney bus ride (besides the Magical Express.. what is it that people call it at the end of the trip? I can't find the thread and I can't remember!) I landed at Pop Century. Dropped my camera bag, but grabbed my camera and lens, as well as a new memory card and went out for some Pop pictures in the dark!

I stopped in at Everything Pop and got myself a croissant and a blue Powerade so that I would have something to eat in the EARLY morning when we got up. We had a very early DME pickup.

These two are the last pictures I took at all, and they were with my cell at about 3:15 am.

We were at the airport quite early because I bought a micro usb charger for my phone at the airport. (Which stopped working well a couple of months ago, so I got another charger... Today my phone battery started dying right before my eyes within 1.5 hours of unplugging it at fully charged... eeek! I wasn't even using it much. I checked facebook and e-mail and that was it and it was down to 45% in about 30 minutes. I let it die and charged it again, and I unplugged it and it was at 95% instantly. Uh oh. NOT BEFORE MY TRIP! I NEED IT FOR My Disney Experience! Hahahahaha. So I stopped at my cell phone provider and asked if they sold actually chargers that plug directly into the wall, not through USB. They did. So I bought it. We'll see tomorrow how it goes!)

Sorry... rambling done!

I bought the charger at 5:49 am and then I bought a bottle of water and some Pringles for the flight. I love junk food on the airplane, but I always buy water once past security.

Our flight home was uneventful... I think! LOL

Final Thoughts:

I love Art of Animation!
I love Disney Pizza and chicken nuggets.
I love Disney resorts.
I love Disney shopping.
I don't like solo as much when it is unexpected, but I do when I plan for it.
I can't leave Fantasmic until the end of the trip.
I can be cranky and miserable sometimes at Disney if I think about real life messes too much.
I love CMs.

I am sure if I reread the TR I could come up with way more!

For my next trip there are a few new things happening:

1. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (duh!)
2. The Plaza Restaurant
3. All Star Sports

And that's all I can say about Disney for sure. I am also excited about all the Harry Potter things at Universal, and doing Busch Gardens for the first time!

Wonderful pictures to end your report! I didn't take any Nemo pictures because they said no flash, but now I wish I would have tried without the flash. Your pictures are awesome! Next time.... I love the AoA and Pop pictures, and definitely want to try out those resorts in the future.

We saw Nemo for the first time in March. We were inpressed and loved it. I haven't started editing those pictures yet. I hope I got some good ones.

Thanks. I was feeling totally rushed to get it done in time! LOL

You know, I think I'll leave my camera home! Actually I've been toying with getting a smaller camera to take with me to Universal and to SeaWorld. Nothing bothers me more than not keeping my camera with me. Just today really I decided that I NEEDED to do this. I used to have a second camera, the Canon G12 and I liked it. Basically I've been looking at the G16 and the Sony RX100. The first version. But the Sony is not in stock at our local Future Shop and is only available on line. Not sure it will get in in time. I also don't like that it can't shoot raw. I do like the constant 1.8 though. Smaller zoom too. Then the Canon is bigger, not as fast, but the exact same price and they have one in stock. You can shoot in raw as well (as far as I can tell!) , and make videos, which is handy but not a necessity. $500 for a point and shoot is a lot... oh! I don't know!!!
