Touching wet car door handles.
OK touching ANY wet handles! Ewwww!
Touching wet car door handles.
When my husband does the dishes, he'll just let the water drain out of the sink and walk away. It drives me nuts that he doesn't rinse all the bubbles out. But after all this time, he's not going to change, and I'm happy enough that I didn't have to do all the dishes that I just make sure that I go out and rinse the sink when he's done so that they don't dry out and get even worse.Leftover bubbles in a sink!!
I can not use a sink that has leftover bubbles in it, even though I’m not touching them. I have to completely wash out a sink before I can use it.
Same goes for bubbles left in the sink after you wash dishes. The worst is when they’re all dried up and just crud. EWWWW
Can you give a couple of examples? I really can't even guess what kind of things this might be.Yep, my daughter has it bad. It's called trypophobia!!! I never realized it was a thing until a couple of years ago when she "self-diagnosed" Now it bothers me!
I've got exactly the opposite problem. My fingernails actually hurt if they're not polished. It's extremely rare that I ever go without polish, like maybe one day every two or three years, but I swear I can feel it. I also can't stand to look at them if the polish gets chipped. I mostly only wear subtle colours so it's not so noticeable - it can really disrupt my day. I can't get my mind off it until I have a chance to get home and fix it up.I can’t stand wearing nail polish. I hate how it feels on my fingertips. For a special occasion, I might wear it for a few hours, but as soon as I get home, I have to take it off and let my nails breathe. I could never wear fake nails; it would be so uncomfortable.
TBH I get dirt trapped under my short nails like right after I cut them, I hate it. When my nails are longer that doesn't happen so I wouldn't assume dirt is when the nails are longerLong finger nails gross me out. I just imagine all the dirt trapped under them.
Mine hurt too if I have no polish on! I always thought it was from the rubbing when I take polish off, but I’m not sure. I rarely go without polish. Can you give a couple of examples? I really can't even guess what kind of things this might be.

OK, thanks. Obviously most of the examples are photoshopped to be like something out a nightmare. But the naturally-occurring things like strawberries, honeycomb or a sponge, I really don't understand the issue.Google image search "trypophobia" and you'll get a lot of examples. Many photoshopped to be extra creepy looking.
I nearly crawl out of my skin if someone at the dinner table asks for a toothpick and proceeds to use it *at the table.* NOOOO!!!! Go to the restroom and dig around in your mouth. Don't make everyone sitting at the table have to watch.
I see these things practically everywhere,I used to work in a candle store in the mall that was close to Piccadilly cafeteria. I cannot begin to tell you how many people would grab a toothpick at the cafeteria, walk around the store digging around their teeth and slurping on them, and then drop them on the floor!
I had to pick up people’s soggy gnarled up toothpicks all the time.
I can't stand wet peanut butter, like rinsing out a jar or wiping off a knife.
She most likely read about it some where and is seeking attention with it.Yep, my daughter has it bad. It's called trypophobia!!! I never realized it was a thing until a couple of years ago when she "self-diagnosed" Now it bothers me!
Can I like this twice? I'm reeeeeally trying to be good about recycling, so I most of the time I do clean the jars out, but it is sooooo yucky.
Well, she did read about it but not seeking attention with it. Quite the opposite. I'm the only one she talks about it with. And that's rarely. She most likely read about it some where and is seeking attention with it.
