Starting our new thread.....now to figure out how to close the old one...or do we need to???
Hope everyone is doing ok these days. I've been so busy that I haven't even been lurking & have lost track of what everyone is up to.
We had a good Halloween but it was WET! Oh well. The kids had fun & that's all that matters. Now I'm focusing on the DCL House Party that I'll be hosting on the 14th.
Doubt we'll be sailing on the Dream in '11. The prices that I saw online were more for a 5-night than we have paid for a 7-night. It was almost $1000/day for the 4 of us for an inside cabin ... too much for us.
Ang
okay I'm here

BAD
We had a great time at Food and Wine on Friday night with Virgil and Frances.
The weather was perfect and the crowds were light. Going during the week sure does make a difference.
Frances, being a true Harry Potter fan, was able to find the entrance to the Ministry of Magic.
But Monica, you would have to move here so that you could work with me all the time. Now there's a good excuse to give John for moving!
Hi all! We've moved and I didn't even have to pack or clean out the house!
Posting Irene style -
-we're waiting word from John's parents to see if they want to get a quote for a family cruise in 2011 with John's sister and her family...
- Stacey and Maria, I know of a personal trainer who would be willing to come to your houses and who specializes in both aqua aerobics and abs
-marching band, marching band and more marching band here.
I'm thinking a Jane Austin marathon would be nice, or maybe something with subtitles...
Missed the Jane Austin reference - will have to go back and re-read posts...
Meanwhile - Happy Tuesday and subscribing...
Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!
Love the picture of Frances!
Stacey has been over on the main boards again! Not that I disagree!
Okay...so I'll unload on you guys INSTEAD of on the main boards.
The reason for my crankiness...other than the "usual" as Jay would say....
I just started selling on eBay....have sold 3 items so far.
The very first item, I was so excited at selling. For one thing, it was a lot of money...to me, anyway.....the lady who bought it had contacted me several times during the auction, she really wanted this necklace badly.
So she won, and she got it yesterday. Then she contacted me (through eBay) and said "It doesn't match the earrings I have, so it really wasn't what I was hoping for. I am returning it".
Come ON....the pictures on there are really good ones, the description is accurate, the appraisal form was pictured, and you could enlarge all of it!!! How much more could she have expected out of it????
I'm a really good buyer. I have NEVER returned anything, even if it didn't fit or I was a bit disappointed. I have always thought that I made a commitment to the seller and I honored it. I think I will list things without a return policy from now on. I should know, even by reading these boards, that there are a lot of people out there who just will not be happy, no matter what.
And again, I have to hand it to you, Diana, for working so hard at eBay sales. It isn't an easy job by any stretch of the imagination!
And about that personal trainer...I think you need to add West Palm to the list..I have become very lazy - BAD, very Bad, I know.
