I'm not a Vegas fan by any stretch but I do get where you're going with it. Give me a city skyline over a remote mountain vista any day.

what if I hired you a string of llamas to pack in your supplies to watch a remote mountain go into Alpine glow, at night lay in your tent and hear the boulders falling off the mountain and wake up with the best water in the US coffee. ? yes bug spray will be included.

Glacier National Park is on the short list of next places to vacation. We loved Yosemite when we visited.

You will love it!! We havent been since 2012, but are planning to go back next September. Don't go before July as you want to make sure the Going to the Sun road is open!

That I've seen thus far? Yosemite Valley. Runner up would be the Cinque Terre.

I'm glad to see so many folks saying Banff/Jasper/Glacier, because that's where we're headed next summer!

You will love it!! We havent been since 2012, but are planning to go back next September. Don't go before July as you want to make sure the Going to the Sun road is open!

We always wait until after school is back in session to travel, usually September as it's a lot less crowded and we don't have to worry about pulling kids out of school. We actually had a trip booked a few years back, but had to cancel due to an unexpected health issue.

Of all the places I have been in the world, the most beautiful I've seen are Banff/Jasper Alberta, and Zion in Utah.
I've been to many beaches... and all are beautiful, but something about those giant rocks is breath taking.
