I note that you've made it to 11 posts (congratulations!). I believe that if you tried posting pictures before you got to 10 posts, the Dis would not have let you do so. You need to have had a minimum of 10 posts before you can post pictures.

Have you tried again?

I don't know much about Picassa but I believe it has the ability to webshare and there should be no issue if that is the case. If not, most of the photo regulars are using Flickr, Smugmug or Photobucket.

So, I suppose I'll toss my hat into the thread. Been following most of the scavenger hunts for awhile now (especially since this spring when I picked up my T1i) and always a bit self-conscious to show my work. But, considering I've posted it all over my TR, I figure it's out there anyway...

Now, there's one minor challenge associated with me doing this, I don't currently drive, and I'm single, with no family around, so most of my stuff is within walking distance of either my house or office. It keeps my subject matter down . Hopefully I'll get a few other photo friends together and get something going once a month or so.

I also got fed up with the look or functionality of online galleries (e.g. Photobucket, Flickr, or the multitudes of Wordpress plugins), so I created my own, which is accessible by clicking on each image. (It also extracts the basic EXIF info and all that jazz).

I'm cheating (partially) here. The 2nd was taken way back a few months ago. I'd never wear that shirt in the summer in Alabama (it's a long sleeve thermal type of thing, I'd melt)




And, along the cheating lines... something WAY out of the date range... and not even with my good camera (granted, looking back at the pics from that one, it was only a bit less good, certainly not bad)

I took this while smoking a cigarette and the smoke blew in front of the lens. It's a pretty creepy shot, especially considering I was at a Halloween party at the time... (As a note, only sharpening and color tweaking was done in PP, I didn't even see the image until I had gotten home and was going through the photos to create the initial gallery).
