Sara & Ryan's Wishes PJ & TR ~ 8/17/10 WP/GF/Marina ~ 1/22 Thank you!

such beautiful words and a beautiful location for a beautiful couple! i love the picture of the RB thinking he should have the rings!!! :goodvibes

Beautiful photos. My favorite is the one where you and your husband are facing your guests at the end of the ceremony...it's just gorgeous! :goodvibes

Awww getting teary eyed over here, everything looked fantastic!
Loved the ceremony, your flower girl was precious, your ring bearer being ticked that he didn't get to hold the rings was funny.

Stupid school I missed so much!!!!

Geez where do I start...

I love that you did 1900 park fare before the wedding! We loved it and it must have been fun to do it with a bunch of girls.

I'm glad you liked your makeup and hair stylists so much! I think you looked beautiful. I also LOVE your bouquet. I had to have 3 girls help me to lace up my dress!!! Thats hard stuff. though DH some how managed to do it all by himself for our photo shoot :confused3

I love all your before pictures. they are so fun. I think it was def worth doing a first look so you could get all those! I love that you went to the Poly, those pictures came out so pretty. I really like how all your colors came together! The flower girl dress is really pretty and works so nicely with the other dresses.

I think your floral in the ceremony are breath taking. they came out perfect!!

so pretty much I love everything you did and I think you looked gorgeous!

Oh BTW did I mention to you that me and DH are moving back to NY? I think we should try and meet up when we do!

I LOVE EVERYTHING!

Your pictures are gorgeous, I am dying to see mine, I had to remind myself that you got married in September which is why you have these AMAZING shots and I got married in October which is why I have to wait :sad2: hehe

Seriously though GORGEOUS!

I love that you mentioned Gone with the Wind, that's exactly what I think of!

I think you were stunning and the WP second to you. I have to say that you made the WP carpert look obsolete. I always doubt that carpet. In my mind it detracts from the beauty, but your ceremony in the WP looks amazing. I love it and congratualtions....

Thank you, that is so sweet of you to say! :goodvibes. They do have some pretty bad carpet choices at Disney, and I did think about a runner, but in the end it didn't seem worth it for such a short amount of time, and I really don't mind the carpet in the pictures, and didn't notice it at all that day. ;) I was also really concerned with the wallpaper in the reception room, but that also didn't bother me in real life and we had our pre-reception in Whitehall and I didn't even notice the crazy birds.

Loving everything! Your flower girl is precious and I really like the picture of your husband watching you walk down the aisle. Your flowers are gorgeous and everything went together so nicely. You look so completely happy in all of your pictures, I love it!

Thanks so much! That picture is one of my favorites of him as well. I printed out a copy to have at my desk at work. ;) I was so happy with the flowers, and how it all came together in the end. Thanks! I was really so happy and felt like a princess all day, it was really a dream come true. :cutie:

Love love love everything!

Your bridal party dresses totally went with your dress and the flowers were gorgeous. I really wish we could do more with these afterwards. My two sisters were my bridesmaids and their flowers went to both my Nana's and then the day after (we were already flying to Disney for our honeymoon) all my family took mine up to the cemetary to put on my Grandad's grave which was really nice but I wish I could keep them forever!!

Can't wait to see/read more and don't want your report to end! :thumbsup2

Thanks Lisa! I loved that the top of their dress was similar to mine, and I like it even more in the pictures. That's so sweet! I wish we could have done something like that. Maybe I'll just pretend my parent's did that ;). They were taking care of things with my grandpa's house and the estate, so it's not too much of a stretch.

It was funny because DSIL was saying how she regretted not having her bouquet and I just thought, yeah it would be nice, but I won't really care since I'm not a flower person, but boy was I wrong!

such beautiful words and a beautiful location for a beautiful couple! i love the picture of the RB thinking he should have the rings!!! :goodvibes

Thanks so much! I loved the WP, it was so perfect, and the funny thing is, before we saw it in person, I didn't think I would want the wedding there. Lol, I can totally tell he's thinking that the BM is robbing him of his moment! Our RB is very mature for his age, so he definitely thought he could handle it.

Beautiful photos. My favorite is the one where you and your husband are facing your guests at the end of the ceremony...it's just gorgeous! :goodvibes

Aww thanks so much. We love them! :goodvibes I really like that one too. ;)

Thank you! It really was even better than I had imagined or hoped it would be. She really was adorable, and he is so funny.

Your ceremony was so beautiful and you look like a princess:thumbsup2

Lol, you have missed a lot! It was really fun with the girls, it seems like a more "girly" place to me. Thanks! The girls were so fun to have around. I really loved all the flowers, sometimes I just look at pictures of my bouquet. Now I just tell myself that the preserved bouquet wouldn't look the same. ;)

We got so many pictures that way, so I thought it was totally worth it. I had so many people doubt me on the FG dress, why purple, why not white, it's going to look weird, etc. And I loved how it looked, she really does match the flowers and just bring in that purple a little more. Aww, thanks so much. :goodvibes I really liked how everything turned out. I'm still amazed that that was really our wedding! :lovestruc

OMG, I thought I saw something about that on FB! That's so cool, we definitely should! When are you planning to move back?

I LOVE EVERYTHING!

Thanks so much! Aww, you do have to be patient. If it makes you feel better, our wedding was in mid-August, but we got back from our honeymoon in Sept ;), and there were not a lot of weddings around that time. I know the Roots didn't have many other weddings around then, so I think that's why they were able to turn around the pics so quickly, I definitely don't think that is the norm. I'm sure once you do get your pics, they will be worth the wait. :)

I love that movie, DH makes fun of me every time I watch it because I will watch the whole thing and he's like, haven't you seen this already? You're really going to watch all four hours of this? Yes I will!

Just back from a week away and catching up with your TR. Truly beautiful -every detail just perfect!!!
More please!!!

Thanks so much! I was really happy with how it all turned it, after all those months of planning.

Wow, your ceremony floral is just beautiful! Looks like you had the most wonderful time!

Thank you, I really loved the floral. We really did have a great time, it really was magical. :goodvibes

After the ceremony they lined everyone up for the staged exit. This apparently takes a while, so they sent DH and I to picture point. I notice Rev Day coming over, so I ask DH if he paid him yet and he said no:eek:. I know how sometimes Rev Day does a few weddings a day so DH ran to the Groom's room to get the check. Rev Day was a little confused to come over and find a missing groom  and I said that he went to get the payment and Rev Day was really as sweet as can be about it and said, oh he didn't have to run off to get it, I'm in no rush. Once DH came back, Rev Day had a few nice words of congrats for us and gave us a copy of our ceremony and said goodbye.

It was getting pretty hot so we went back in the WP for a few pictures.

Now it was time for our big exit.

It felt like the line was really long, and some of our guests seemed to think that the petal toss meant pelting them at us . So it might be a good idea to give some instruction that they should be tossed in the air and not at you. ;)

The downside to petals, is that they end up down your dress! Then it was time for our long ride around the parking lot. Lol, this is so silly to me, but seems to be common practice with DFTW, I guess some people take the guests not seeming them again until the big entrance at the reception very seriously.

Bon Voyage!

Here was the one snag of the day, everyone was supposed to stick around for a group photo, but they sent them all to the pre-reception. It worked out fine in the end though since we just got the group photo at the reception instead and we had two special guests there then. ;)

After our scenic tour of the parking lot, it was time for some family photos. These were all your basic stand in the WP pics. I did make a list of all the family shots but forgot to bring copies or assign someone to gather everyone together. Luckily Jensey stepped in with their copy and helped corral everyone for the pics. We went through them all pretty quickly and the bus came back and brought the BP and family over to the pre-reception.

After they left, we took even more pictures .

Then we went over to the GF beach for a few with the WP in the background.

We passed another bench, so we had to have a few more pics there, lol, you can see my other shoes in this pic. After all the stress of whether or not I'd be able to wear the wedding shoes I bought, it turned out they killed my feet, so I took them off after the ceremony. I think I should have just worn those ones all along. ;)
SR_0755.jpg

By that time we were all pictured out, so we headed over to the Whitehall room, there were some bacon wrapped meatballs calling my name!

Eeeee! More pics!
Oh the shoes! :lmao: I swear the things we seem to stress about sometimes!
I am really trying to figure out the petal toss thing, I might ask my planner to tell our guests what they are supposed to do? :confused3

I don't know, I think all of our people will know though, I have faith :thumbsup2
It is petal throwing, how hard can it be? (watch me now, I'll come back saying someone was hurling petals like weapons later):rotfl2:

Your fans came out awesome! Love them, so cute!

i know what you mean about the petals!! i'm so nervous about this because i want that picture so bad!! i was thinking of getting the cannons because i think my guests may not take it so crazy seriously lol :rotfl2:

LOL, I know right, after walking around in them for a few minutes I just knew they weren't going to last, but I did get a few pretty pictures of them, so I guess that's what really matters. ;) You would think it's pretty obvious , hope your guests are a little more savvy than ours.

Thanks! Everyone really loved them, they were worth all the effort.

It was definitely worth it for the petals and most of our guests did it correctly, there were just a few that pelted us with them.

Since we were taking pictures, we actually missed most of the pre-reception. I think I was only in the room for five minutes and then my MOH's took me away to get me bustled. They were kind enough to get me a plate of food and a nice cold drink so I did get to enjoy it a little. Luckily the bustling went much better than the lacing. ;)

Our photo guestbook and the pre-reception centerpieces, we also used them at the DP.
SR_0762.jpg

There was another table next to it that had the card box on it. And on the other side of the hallway was a large marble table with the escort cards. By the time we got there almost everyone had taken theirs so there was not much to photograph.

The food set-up. We had the cheese display with fresh honeycomb and the bacon and blue cheese meatballs. Initially I was concerned it wouldn't be enough food but it was plenty. The cheeses were delicious and the meatballs were amazing. Luckily my MOH wasn't stingy when she made my plate, I had five of these and they were so tasty!
SR_0765.jpg

You can see more of the room in this one.
SR_0769.jpg

Out on the patio, a few guests took a look around out there, but it was really too hot to sit there. I'm really glad we didn't pay extra for chair covers for the pre-reception, it would have cost a lot and the chairs don't really bother me in these pictures.
SR_0770.jpg

After I was bustled, Karen came to get me to show us the room before all the guests went in. We also had a few minutes to go over everything with DJ Miles.

Everything looked amazing.

SR_0929.jpg

They had moved the gift table and guestbook down by the reception room. Not sure why they always have to do the clouding thing...
SR_0923.jpg

There were a few things that weren't exactly where I wanted them. Our Sweetheart table was up on a riser, even though in my paperwork I did say no riser. Even though it was a little weird being up there, it was good because we could see everyone, and I guess when can you sit on a riser like royalty if not at your own wedding?

I had never gotten around to making a sign for the memorial vase, so no one really knew what that was and somehow it ended up on the cake table. It just looked kind of funny there and I had just figured they'd leave it with the guestbook. At the pre-reception it was on the gift table. Luckily the Roots must have realized I did not want it there because the cake pictures are taken at such an angle that you don't even see it. :thumbsup2

I did think to tell my Planner at the reception, but it wasn't really that big a deal in the end. No one else really knew where things should have been. Although I do wish I had made those signs like I had planned.

So after our peak at the reception room they hid us away in the ballroom so that the guests could sit down before our big entrance. During this time they were doing a lot of refurbishment in the convention center and the room they took us to had just been painted, so that was a little odd. I do wish Disney had a more traditional "bridal suite" where you could leave your bags and stuff. Ours were just on a luggage cart in the hallway.
SR_0758.jpg

The awesome bridal emergency kit from the Roots, let's just say they totally blew my welcome bags out of the water. It was delivered to our room the day before the wedding and was an awesome surprise and actually a life saver, but more on that later. ;)

Next up: Reception

Wow! Everything is so unbelievably elegant. I absolutely love your cake!

It is so hard to see everyone else's TR's now...it makes me want to have another wedding so I can use all these ideas!!

The room looked beautiful Sara. I loved how the centerpieces turned out. Your pictures came out great and I loved all the purples you used. You are right about your dress and the bridesmaids dresses, they really complimented each other well. Can't wait to hear about the reception!

Sara, just beautiful:) I love the words in your ceremony..they are just perfect. I am the wedding custodian at our church and for the weddings I have been a part of, your service is so special and touching...May God bless you and your husband.

Right i'm all caught up!

Everything looks wonderful, you were a very beautiful bride.
