I didn't want to call this a party thread as not enough people may show up to make it a party. The SAG Awards show and their Red Carpet are being totally streamed on regular (FREE) YouTube, not the paid YouTubeTV. So, it will require one device to watch and another to post here, or a lot of switching back & forth between pages on one device. :badpc: And not everyone is into streaming. :badpc:

This thread room has been reserved so those of us that are interested can still chat. :surfweb: :hyper2: popcorn::
Grab some munchies.

We'll see how this goes!

As usual, the SAG Awards has no host.

I’ll be here tonight! I want to see if Angela Bassett does the thing. 😂

You might have to google that one…

It might be just you and me! :lmao:

Okay, I Googled. . . :surfweb:

. . . If Angela doesn't win, we'll never know what the thing is. :lmao:She may stay mum about it forever after. :ssst: ;)

I finally got my Google Chromecast set up correctly. I had unplugged it and my phone didn't recognize it at first when I plugged it back in. :badpc:

Hmm, this Red Carpet doesn't seem to have the glitz that the ones on E! has.

Not sure if I'll be watching since it's not on normal TV. Streaming is so hit or miss for me.

I unfortunately think a lot of people tonight are going to go through the same thing.

Why an award show that celebrates TV actors would decide to skip airing the show on TV is beyond me. :confused3 :headache:

Zendaya looks really glamorous.

Seems pink, lavendar & fuchsia are the "in" colors."

Sally Field's look is a miss for me. The roundy neckline and her roundy haircut and roundy glasses just don't work. IMO, she needed a V-neck or a necklace to pull the look together.

I was thinking the same thing about the colors!

Uh-oh! Big Bird's yellow seems to be in too. Never fond of someone dressed fully in that all yellow color, like Viola Davis.

I'm just going to say that I love seeing Brendan Frasier at the awards!

I'm just going to say that I love seeing Brendan Frasier at the awards!

Yes, he had such a big career for a long time. Then he suddenly fizzled out. Glad he's back, and NOT having to fit some mold or stereotype, but doing great work, HIS way. :thumbsup2

I am not liking these two hosts. This red carpet is supposed to be a partnership between People Magazine & Entertainment Weekly. Why didn't they get a couple hosts from ET to do this?
