Interesting... Anybody else have success with this?
Not the same type of offer, but I had an Instacart+ $10 credit with Chase and then a $20 paypal targeted. I used the Chase card through paypal figuring that, worst case, the $20 was better than the $10. I ended up getting the full $30- paypal reduced my charge by $20 and Chase credited even though it read Pyapal-Instacart on my statement.

Does anyone know if you use PayPal to purchase at a merchant you have a Chase offer for, will it track for the Chase offer? For example 10% Chase offer at shopDisney, if I use my Chase Freedom card to buy via PayPal (shows up on statement as PAYPAL * shopDISNEY) does it trigger the Chase offer?

I've done this multiple times with Chase offers and it has credited every time for me. YMMV

It worked for me. I bought a gift card on ShopDisney on October 4. Payed through Paypal with my Chase Freedom. I only had a 5% cashback offer. Got the 5x quarterly bonus. Got my 5% cashback offer credited to my account on October 10.

Agree that is very interesting! From my understanding of Chase offers if the fine print says Payment must be made directly with the merchant, then how is it PayPal worked? Maybe it's no longer enforced? Was it ever?
And, do your offers specifically have that?

All of my Chase offers do say "payment must be made directly with the merchant" and I've always used PayPal as my payment method. Every offer has credited for me. Hopefully it will work for everyone else!

Wow that is awesome I have always just done it directly with the merchant.
Hopefully we can double dip with the freedom 5% category this quarter!!

So sorry if this has been addressed in the past but I couldn't find a firm answer- can Lyft GCs be used for Minnie Vans?

I would think, since payment for Minnie Vans is through Lyft. I've been stockpiling Lyft gift cards for our January trip. I add them to my account and it just adds to my Lyft Cash. I assume a Minnie Van payment will come from that, just like any other standard Lyft payment would.

Just an update to the Amex Happy offer. Capital One Spring (which is free to join, you do not need a Capital One Credit card) has a promo card for 6% off happy cards. Once you sign up for a capital one spring account, click the search box for happy and click on happy gift cards, scroll down a little and on the right where it says get deal, click show and it will give you a promo code (I don't know if the promo code is unique to each account.) When you get to the sign in page on the happy cards site, there is a place to add the promo code.

So when buying the happy card, set your happy treats to a custom amount of $107 and after the promo code you will pay $100.58 and get $15 back from Amex making the final cost $85.58 for a savings of 20%. You can then go to gamestop and buy one of the variable Disney gift cards or variable Amazon gift cards (or any other variable cards they sell) for $107.

For reference, I am attaching again below the picture of gift cards sold at my local gamestop store. The picture is missing the amazon gift cards, but my store had $25 and variable $25 - $500 Amazon gift cards (I was the only person in the store and the clerk was watching me so I tried to take the picture quickly when he wasn't looking).

When we went on vacation this summer, we stopped off at 5 different Gamestops along the way and 4 out of the 5 had Disney gift cards and amazon gift cards.

Are you getting an electronic Happy Card or an electronic GameStop gift card? The redemption instructions on the Happy Card website seem to say that you have to get an electronic GameStop gift card--am I missing something?

Hi! Does anyone know the dates that Cash App offered a 10% Sams Club boost last year?
