Would like your opinions regarding trade threads

Well, I closed my first trade thread. Thanks to a couple of awesome trades with Hockey and Cawa -- being my first ever public trade thread, they both have really given me positive views on doing this. But unfortunately, I don't think the trade board is for me -- or, maybe I'm just not meant to trade...?

I have seen many trade threads exist for more than a week, with many people following through on their offers. My trade thread was mainly through a weekend, and I had more people not follow through on their posted offers, than not.. IMO, if you post an offer on a trade thread, you should either follow through with it or withdraw your offer. There were other people who I had declined trading, simply because of other offers I had received. At the very least, shouldn't people reply to pm's? (Thank you to those who did reply.) Unfortunately, I have had more either not reply, or change their minds after making an offer. I refuse to take any of this personally, which is why I will still view that area of DIS, but I would really like your opinions on this. Am I wrong to expect this much? If you were making a trade thread, wouldn't you want people to follow through with their offer one way or another? That's not asking for much, or is it...?

Yes I completely agree with you, Days.

I don't know why anyone would even waste their time offering when they won't even bother to respond. And it is pretty rude that they just ignore your posts and PM's.
