I would take 50 degrees over snow any day. It always snows here for Halloween @_@ and My birthday tomorrow @_@ lol so crossing fingers for it not to snow.

Happy early birthday! I'm getting old and forgetful, so that's taken care of now!

have to show all of you my niece, I bought her the costume before she was even born....... can you tell I have problems.....

What a cutie! I love little kids--especially when they belong to someone else!

This is the first year Shannan (the granddaughter) hasn't been a Disney character for Halloween. She saw the vampiress gown and fell in love with it. It really is very pretty--but she says that she's going to wear "really horrible makeup" so that she doesn't get mistaken for some kind of a princess. Hopefully I'll get to see some pictures of her in her costume! She's also excited about going to visit her new cousin who just arrived from Korea. She was very upset when she found out that he wouldn't be able to teach her to speak Korean (he's 8 months old right now, so he doesn't speak anything yet;)).

Well, my boss has made an official declaration--he says that I will be officially useless until I come back from vacation. He doesn't care, as long as that last big project gets done!

Happy Birthday!

Do you live near Buffalo? DD's Dad is from Buffalo, so she is a big Bills fan!

She's going to be a vampiress. She thinks vampires are just the coolest thing. I guess that's what happens when you're seven years old! She's really excited that she can use some black spray on her very blonde hair!

Beth

That's what my DD was last year! She might wear it again this year, but hasn't made up her mind yet.

Guess she better make her mind up soon...

"Across the pond" at BCV. :cool1: We may cross paths yet again after the cruise. :thumbsup2

- Bill

I was tempted by BCV, but wanted to wait until a warmer visit. And I only got the 16th at BWV by sheer chance. When I first called, there was nothing available at any resort on the 16th. But while I was talking to MS, she said "oh a studio just came available at BWV, do you want me to grab it?" So I got my first choice after all!

We're going to hit EPCOT on the 15th. We've got "dinner" (in quotes because its more like a late lunch at 4:00) reservations at San Angel Inn before the 6:45 Candlelight Processional.

We're doing the MVMCP on the 16th and leaving the next day.

This will be my first cruise and first trip outside the U.S. other than a drive-by of Canada.

we're from Tennessee, traveling w/ mother in law. husband (39), son (10) and daughter (5); sister-in-law (30-something) and brother in-law (30 something); another sister in-law (30-something) and her son (13).

We can't wait.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I have to say. . .

:cheer2: YEA RED SOX! :cheer2:

Being raised in New England (mostly MA), I was very happy about the game last night.

We had to do something similar to that when DS had flexable Rods in his leg after Falling off a Mini Harley in Colorado at his Grandparents house.. Broke both his bones in his leg.. Tibia and Fibia.. *can't spell*

Coming home from CO to NJ was fine, the rods were in but the Dr was WITH him at the airport the whole time.. and they let him right through security and stuff cause he couldn't have a hard cast til the swelling went down.. The Dr was leaving on a flight to visit family the same day DS was coming home.. So he took our son right to his gate.. He was flying as an unicompanied minor at the time.. :guilty: The DRs gate was 3 away..

But 2 months later going to WDW, poor kid got stripped searched just about even with a Drs note.. :sad2:

A couple of years ago now I had my right hip completely replaced. The implant is made of titanium and a very tough ceramic. It should last forever! :thumbsup2

The downside ..... is going through airport screening. I tell them everytime and everytime I set the alarm off. I then get completely searched. :upsidedow Now when I fly I wear a t-shirt, short pants and sandals. The sandals come off easy and the rest of my outfit hides absolutely nothing! :3dglasses The TSA people are usually fairly nice about it and tell me that even with a doctors note they will still need to do a complete search. The note just tells them where to look.

I've been patted down a couple of times and the last one wanted to know if I wished to go to a room so it wouldn't be seen out in the public area. I said that I was fine right there and did not want anything to slow me up .... so pat away.! :flower3: I just wished that he would give me flowers afterward. :lmao:

One of these days I'm betting that I am going to have to show someone my scar. :scared: Better yet will be when I go through the new machine which will show the hip implant on screen. :thumbsup2
