Actually after watching tonights episode, I think Alice did right. I have a feeling she is going to out the Col. who will be prosecuting Tasha, if not her, someone close to her.

I never liked Jenny, always a wacko to me,

I didn't think of the outing the Col thing... very good - I was thinking someone was going to take her to bed,

I surely think there's something going on w/ the Col prosecuting Tasha. I hope that Alice does find something out about her and takes it to the show that she's agreed to. About that show - ugh! Those women really peeved me off - "be the happy gay not the angry gay"...

Oh yeah, and Adele, she's a little whacko for sure. That she set up Niki like that? Yikes! But...the SheBar sequence was a fun one to watch.

Honestly, the Bette/Tina/Jodi thing is a little tiring to me. Are they/aren't they? The only thing interesting to me in this episode was the assistant flirting with Tina and Bette seeing it (and Tina not apologizing about it). Get it over with - either way: them getting together or not.

I used to be a HUGE Shane fan, but I've gotten over her. Her story is a little played out, too (sorry to be such a downer this post), but her and Phyllis' daughter might make it more interesting - at least that's something the show hasn't explored before - Shane and a straight girl.

Oh, have I missed something? Where the HECK is Helena? I've forgotten if she's gone somewhere or is doing something or... I knew I was craving a British accent the other evening and wondering why it wasn't be satiated... If anyone can kindly remind me...

And who the heck cares about Paris Hilton possibly signing up with the show? Bad acting skills, someone I wouldn't care to know personally and someone I can't see as representing the community very well... Hot? Not... There's plenty of girls on the show that I enjoy seeing every week (despite the so-so writing), I don't need Miss People Weekly filling my eyes and ears any more than she already unfortunately does.

Ooooh, I forgot, the most exciting moments of the evening for me were the all too brief episodes with the "butch" production assistant - not the one mentioned above, but the REAL one ... did anyone else catch her (she had a high pitched tone of voice) or I am the only GIRL in the room???

After Helena's Mom bailed her out of jail, she was "supposed" to go to a European country on the lame, never to come back for her trial. (Someone, what was she arrested for??? I don't know that piece of the puzzle). She skipped out on her Mom. She had Shane cover for her, and confided in Shane that she had "hidden the money" and was going to get it. I have a feeling Helena will be back.

Viki, I'm with you on Jenny. She's an irritant but is often quite amusing as she exists in her own little universe where she is the ruler!

I had more empathy for her in the first couple seasons, when she was working out the sexual abuse stuff and exploring her sexuality. Now, she's just a pompus b-word. I can't believe her friends are putting up with her!

and the pool incident....I don’t think that was Max. I think it was the actor from Jenny's movie who is playing her boyfriend.

Paris Hilton - yuck!!

What would be great to see on the show is more diversity of body types and gender expressions. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and haven't seen a single person who looks like any of the lesbians (board won't let me use the d y k e word) I socialize with here. I'd love to see some true big butches some boi's, some leather lesbians (those actually in the lifestyle, not just like the fashion), women who weigh more than 100lbs and some working class women who don't wear designer clothes!

i am totally with you!! Yes it is very nice to have that kind of eye candy weekly but it is nice to have other types of eye candy too!

If i had to date any of the girls.........the closest i would come to actually being intrested in is Max. So of course you see the problem there. Now Shane, I would just have fun with.

Paris.........i might have to skip a week or more (god forbid she is on more than once!).

There hasn't been no one on the show that is truly my type. They have as yet to put any babyfaced, totally cute, chunky, short, butchy chicks on the show. Give me a Home Depot kinda grrl over those women anyday!

Episode 8 is on ourchart!! Ok so I just got a chance to watch episode 7 and was lucky enough to watch 8 right after.

I know that everyone is rooting for Tina and Bette to get back together, but if I was Tina it would just show me that obviously Bette still can not maintain a relationship with out having someone on the side. This is the first season that I have actually liked Tina and I love Jody.

I also would like to see more non-la high fashion lesbians on the show. I actually caught the assistant as well! I wish that they would get some more famous lesbians to guest star...like say Sabrina Mathews and her very excellent velor shirt...

Episode 8 is so far my favorite episode of the season!!! I will hold off saying more till more people have seen it.

Hi Everyone

I ventured to this board to check out the now infamous crazy old lady lawn displays and I was very happy to find this thread.

Even though I am straight, I am proud to admit that I The L Word. I have been hooked since one of my friends introduced it to me.

The only bad thing is...I don't have Showtime . So I have S1-S4 on DVD and have been reading up on S5 and catching what I can on YouTube.

I am glad I am not the only person who hates Jenny. What an insane individual! Lucky for me...since I can't see the show until it's on DVD, I just fast forward through the scenes she is in.

Yeah I know how that goes I actually watched it while at work....(shh don't tell my boss) My Dw was not super thrilled with me especially because I keep letting stuff slip and she has not been able to watch it yet because our computer is on the fritz.

If only Jenny would die from the velour....but now we have two Jenny's on the show...obviousley the producers did not listen to our complaints at all....I think we should start a support group!

Really? I just thought it was OK (I've like other episodes this season lots better), though I did like the Alice/Colonel sequences, and did we really need two matching HICKIES???
