From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 3

I like mondays, well every second one anyway,lol, when I have a whole week off in front of me, I was thinking about you on sat, I passed the abc liq store, might take a trip along there myself pre cruise not that far from our hotel.

Well, the offer still stands so keep me posted. And, I would feel differently about Monday if it was not the first day of my workweek - I actually don't mind them on Memorial and Labor Day when we are off or when I am on vacation. Yep, go figure.

They cabanas are pretty far away from anything, I ran the cc 5k and went past them, I hope they provide some kind of transport for that money!

I read on the main thread that there will be golf carts to take you from the ship the the cabanas and back. I really would like to try them, but DH put his foot down. Maybe one day!

That would sound right, because they are a bit away from the tram drop off, I wish I had taken pics now for you guys, but I never thought, I was too busy trying not to be sucked into the white light, lol.

We are going to DL after the cruise for a few days. We got transfers from Disney to Paradise Pier. Anyone else doing this?

We are staying at Paradise Pier for 3 days after the cruise.

I tried to print the list of who is going on page one so I could finish up my fe and put them in plastic bags with the cabin numbers. I could only scroll down to a certain point and that is where it stops. Am I doing something wrong? Did anyone else print out the whole list?

Did not try the who's going list, just the FE list and copied it and printed it in numerical order.

Yes, our last PC cruise had almost NO kids. My son thought it was great because the kids camps were not so crowded and there was lots of space at the pools.

They even did a sleep-over in the camps where they kept the kids all night long. I finally went to get my son around 2:00am and many kids had crashed for the night, but my then 7 DS was still going strong and having a blast!

And I am sure it was posted and I just can't find it. I have looked on our website as well. Where is the logo posted if we wish to make our own t-shirts? I looked on the logo page on the website but that one isn't big enough.

Thats certailny seems about right, no kids to be seen anywhere, and I only met one brat out of all the kids, the rest were so so good,never met such a well behaved nice bunch of kids for a long time.
I did wonder how there were no upgrades available but not at full capacity, I have to say I can be a bit dim sometimes

Not dim at all. I had the same thoughts on the PC cruise.

Just a quick update on the PC certificates.

The details of what we are ordering and how to order are on page 1 of this thread. If you want to order one / some, please fill in the form as soon as you can.

I will be closing the order for PC certificates at the end of October, so that I will have enough time to get the order sorted and confirmed.

I have had questions on the way we can have our names listed. We can pretty much (within reason) have anything we want. You could have;

The Flintstone Family
Fred and Wilma Flintstone
Fred A Flintstone
Fred Flintstone Jr.

Obviously use common sense and not have something that is clearly too long.

"Fred Albert Bernie Charlie David Wibble Kerplunk Flintstone III" might be pushing it just a little

Sometime early November, I will send emails out to all that have signed up just confirming their order and verifying the names.

So far, we have an overwhelming "yes" to give a certificate for the Captain, so I will add that onto the order too.

Well... our little foster puppy returned today.

The new family's dog just wasn't the same and you never want your animal not to be happy. It was just heartbreaking for the family and I cried along with her.

So we are back to two little pups..waiting for a good home!

Does anyone know what company Tinksmom is using for the bracelets? There doesnt seem to be much interest in pursuing the poll for the option of the phrasing on the bracelet, and I dont really care for the wording as it is now, so I would rather order my own. I really like the phrase that the creator of the lanyards is using in fact. So if anyone knows which bracelet company Tinksmom was going to use, or if you know a good company from a previous cruise, please let me know. I did some searching on my own and found a couple where you can order even just 1 bracelet for yourself for less than $3, but its always good to hear a referral from someone who has used another company. For anyone else who is interested in customizing bracelets with your names or your own preferred phrase, once I figure it out I'll post here so you have the info as well.

We used the seller woodworknick on ebay. He was great and would customize and was very reasonable!

I found it very frustrating that you had to go in and out of every excursion to get the price, duration and age range. I don't understand why this information can't be available on the front page...it would've saved me a ton of time. (DCL web deginers, I hope you are reading!)

I received the FE I ordered from ebay last week from BonnySews, very cute and nice quality. I stuck to a generic one so I could let my nieces use it on our Nov 2011 cruise.

It must be because I am cheap. I book a cat 11 because I am in my room for 5 things, none of which require a window or a balcony. The only reason we are thinking about a balcony for this cruise is because it will not cost us anything more if the cruise goes to interline rates and we get paid tips, so in essence we will save $$$. To book a cabana I just can't wrap my mind around it. I got better things to with $499 than get sunscreen, water, and gave someone fetch good I can more than easily do myself. Like you say Jenn, different strokes.

I am sorry too... I hope so! Both of these little ones deserve happy homes!

We know they are part terrier but no idea what Daddy was (could be multiple daddies in the same litter I am told) They look nothing alike but they are supposedly siblings according to the owner who turned them in.
