I don’t believe they do any longer. I don’t think whether Disney sells something or not has any effect on whether they ban it or not. That’s just silly. As far as I know, they still sell cigars at Disney Springs, but you can’t smoke them there.
I was responding to someone who indicated Disney wouldn't ban something they sell (or sell something they ban).
I’ve taken the keys to the kingdom tour and been down in the utildoors, I bet the cm’s will still have dsa’s available for them.
I think that won't matter to visitors.

Thank you! If I got pregnant right now I wouldn't have the baby until January so we'd be clear of the first year of marriage :) My husband has two kids so we already have kids in our lives, just not babies. I figure he'll be the baby expert since he's done it twice already so it won't be as crazy as us both being new parents. For traveling with the baby I do want to get I think they're called bjorn to carry the baby around, but for Disney I feel like a stroller might be easier with all the walking, but maybe not.

We loved the lightweight travel stroller we got for our second child for trips. We were going to visit my Dad at his Florida rental for a few days and then go to Disney World for the first time with the kids (a just turned 5 yr old and a 10 mth old.) (We made the 5 yr old walk...in hindsight...we should have rented a stroller for her for our Epcot day.) Before the trip, we went looking for a 'cheap' stroller for the 10 mth old that we could use as a 'high chair' at my Dad's place (kid tray), a place to nap in the parks (reclining seat), with a canopy, a big basket underneath for our stuff, a cup holder for us, and folded easily. Lol, this was 14 yrs ago...we found a Kolcraft Sesame Street one at KMart for $40. We used it for ALL our Disney trips until our youngest turned 6. The wheels were threadbare by the time we threw it out. We LOVED that stroller!

This looks like the newest version of what we had, looks like it's 18" x 31", well within Disney's limits:

I saw some massive strollers on my last Disney trip. I swear one was the size of a Prius. It was absolutely ridiculous for two kids. Even DD12 made a comment about it. I also saw strollers that looked like playpen on wheels. I assume they're considered wagons? Either way huge and ridiculous IMO.

The smoking doesn't really bother me either way. Inhaling second hand smoke time to time while at Disney for a week isn't going to kill me. So I really don't care if the smoking area is inside or outside.

The ice thing doesn't matter to me either since we don't pack food.

Haven't read through the whole thread, but could I still take a small, soft cooler into the water parks with a few sodas in it?
Yes you can bring the sodas but no ice in the cooler. Freeze a couple bottles of water or use a solid freezer pack to keep the sodas cold.

The issue is freezing overnight in the rooms. Unless you have a room with a freezer, with is the 1/2 bedroom DVC rooms, or off property, then you don't have a freezer.
There are freezers in bell services but I don't know that they'll have the ability to freeze an unlimited number of things. Maybe. Obviously I hope those with medical needs, or an infant, could get priority over someone with a soda.

Can't you bring some ziplock bags and get ice from the ice machine? Essentially making your own cheap ice pack?

Thanks. I was only thinking of the ice itself and since they distribute cups of ice water, I couldn't figure it out. I also turned on my Keurig without putting the cup under it this morning, so I may be a bit slower than usual. Glad I have you guys to think for me!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has done this :)

Yes. Well, you can for sure get ice from the ice machine. Provided you can for sure bring zip lock bags of ice in, then yes, you can make your own ice packs.

TIL that there is a cigar shop in Disney Springs.. how the hell did I miss that last time I was there
LOL... Yep. It's been there quite a while, I guess since the rebranding from DTD to DS at least.
On our trip last month it was really bizarre to me to watch a group of ladies sit and pass around, and smoke, a cigar.

Well, the reason for the new ice rule is because of security having to check for what might be hiding in the ice. I have had security unzip my really tiny thin ID case wallet in my purse. It held two gift cards and two twenty dollar bills. So, a zip lock bag full of ice will have to be unzipped too because it’s a lot larger.

This is the only reason I'm not 100% certain they'll be ok with bags of ice.
If their reason for loose ice is that it can hide contraband and they don't want to have to check it or are worried about checking it then ziplock bags of ice will have the same issue.
Sure, it's a smaller area but it still has to be checked and can still hide something. So what has been solved?
Just don't know what is up

Maybe, it will be viewed similar to how stadiums and such have gone from allowing bags to allowing only clear bags. Clear zip lock bags give them a sense of security that are ok with? It's a vague sense of security but what isn't?

Yeah I'm not the type of person to just do it when it's not allowed, not my style. If I have to with no other options, I'll go with the gum or some snus if I really have to, but I normally don't stop that much anyway.

Having read the rules a little closer, you wouldn’t be breaking any rules. If it dies t put out smoke or vapor, it’s not banned, at least that’s how it reads right now.

Dang, my in laws bought DS(almost 1) this radio flyer wagon stroller and it fits the new dimension rules but I guess we are out of luck. too bad, we were looking forward to giving him a place to nap more comfortably during this years trip but the umbrella stroller will have to do. i wonder how many people who are not in tune with disney on a daily basis like we all are here on this board will show up to the parks with a stroller they cannot bring in, and then are told they have to take the bus back to their resort to bring the stroller back, then come all the way back to the park. going to be a lotttt of angry people

And I think this is the reason why the Keenz are banded too, they give the impression that any wagons are allowed, not just this specific brand. You can't push this wagon.
