I wonder if they at least mop the floors in the bathroom and vanity area.
I would hope they mop all the floors but I honestly don't know.

To expand on my answer, the floors have always been clean when we arrive, at least to the eye and underfoot. That being said they get dirty quite quickly. I choose to forego Mousekeeping so take a dry swiffer with me and run it around the bathroom area and entire room each day. Makes a big difference and is easy to pop into my suitcase.

thanks everyone for your feedback/comments on late August heat. We have decided to keep our April trip as scheduled. it's 6 weeks away, hopefully the situation with the coronavirus will stabilize by then.

gave my TA the go ahead yesterday to move our trip from April to October.
You don't think April will be ok? I am looking to move our now cancelled school group trip to April because it seems to be our best bet between exams, prom, graduation, etc. Nothing like spending everyday for a year planning a trip for 51 people to have it cut down to square one at the last moment. Forget toilet paper, there's probably going to be an alcohol shortage soon... and it might all be at my house, lol.

Everything is closed til April and they’ll reassess the situation then. Nobody can predict what that really means at the moment.

my SIL and one DGD both have asthma, his is especially bad in the Spring, my daughter is just not comfortable traveling anytime in the next few months.
good luck with your trip!

The challenges of this virus began in late 2019 and I think those of us in NA are just feeling the true affects now. Seeing that the Asian parks are still closed with no real sings of them opening the parks again, I can’t see FL opening after only a couple of weeks. I could be wrong, these are just my thoughts.

Our next trip is in September and while we’re moving forward with our plans I can’t say I'm 100% confident this trip won’t be affected too.

We are POPsters May9-14 and, even if the Parks are still not open, but the Resorts and the Springs still are,we will still go!

Lots of sleeping late,Pool time, sitting in the Lobby listening to the awesome soundtrack,Arcade time and head to the Springs every evening.

HARDCORE WDW fans!lol :)

If you were just scheduling a family trip and felt comfortable enough to I’d say go for it because you could always reschedule. Since it’s for a school/group trip with 51 people I definitely wouldn’t risk it. Like others have stated while we know they will be closed to the end of the month, we don’t when they will reopen. There’s a chance it will be pushed into April or even later? Also, if you do reschedule for April, keep in mind that even if WDW is reopened then, there is a good chance that a number of people from your group wouldn’t feel comfortable then and likely cancel.

Checked in on Tuesday. We have 4 rooms and were able to get skyliner view for all of us on 3rd floor of the 60s building 4. We LOVE the view and watched the Epcot fireworks with the skyliner in the foreground. It was amazing.
We stayed in building 4 lake view last Summer. We loved it as we could see the Skyliner testing. I was hoping it would open early so we could ride it but no luck there.
