Received our Incredibles box yesterday- we aren't going back to YC until Nov 2014. Does this seem early to anyone? Its almost a year away!!!!

Hi everyone!

Has anyone with March trips received the Incredible's package? Weird thing is i received one for our May trip?!?

I got one for my 2014 AKV trip.

It seems like I'm the only person who took one look at it and said, "I don't care if this supposedly came from Disney, I am NOT putting this flash drive in my computer."

For years we've been told to be careful about clicking on e-mail attachments because they might contain computer viruses.

But apparently if somebody puts a Mickey head on a flash drive, we throw caution to the wind, stick the flash drive in a USB port, and click on whatever files are on there.

(Maybe I would have been less suspicious if I had been expecting the box. I've been having an eye problem, so I haven't been on the Dis much lately. I had no idea Disney was sending these things out until I got one.)

We're going the end of Oct and already got ours, too. I was shocked, especially since we were part of the Magicband testing already.

I was thinking the same thing? Sending it so early seems like a waste of money... Shouldn't they wait until the 45 day mark when people have to pay in full and are 100% commited?

I think they (Disney) are just really trying to get the new info (MB and FP+) out there to the masses so that people don't go in blind and have the ability to plan as appropriate.

My thoughts exactly. Yes Disney want to get this info out to the wider public, but surely they could start with something cheaper?

I'm thinking its to completely hook them and assure they will commit and pay. I'll tell you, I had full intentions of staying at the Dolphin using teacher rate, but the price at BC at 35% off, was comparable, so went ahead and made FP+ via my BC ressie, customized MB's, and finding out the Dolphin still can't book FP's ahead of time, cancelled the Dolphin and kept BC. This new stuff hooked me pretty good and kept me fully on site.

Our trip is March 3rd, payment due Jan 17th. We have not received bands yet.

We received our MB's for an earlier trip without being paid in full. You just need a room reservation in order to get a MB. You don't have to be paid in full, have tickets purchased, or book a package. We booked a room only reservation.

A few months ago I got a pin code for room only. Booked yacht Club GV Sept 24-30…Got the Incredibles package in the mail last week. Stayed at the Beach Club 3 times in the last year, so looking forward to trying something new. May go in the spring for a solo trip but will most likely stay at a (yikes) Mod!!! Haven't decided yet which one. I really enjoyed POFQ. Please add me to the Sept 2014 list. All these new changes are scary and exciting!

Just dropping by to say hi and Happy New Year to my YC BC friends! It was almost a year ago that this thread provided my family with invaluable information for our first YC stay. I'm still enjoying Sunken Treasures as my drink of choice! We are heading to the Poly late January for DHs 40th birthday with 11 of our closest friends. Then in November we set sail on the Magic in the Roy O Disney suite for my 40th. Sadly no YC this year but perhaps I can manage to bring Teena some tomatoes when we visit in January .

They arrived on Nov 1st for a Nov 30th check in, so about 30 days ahead of time.

It has two links to the Edna videos on the MDE website. You really don't need to use the flash drive since it doesn't really contain anything except the links.

Boy, has it been quiet around here!

Hi all! I hope all who celebrate Christmas had a very Merry Christmas.

I decided to go ahead and reserve 2 nights at BC/YC for my 2014 birthday trip. I was surprised to see that YC had standard and garden view rooms available, only BC had availability last I checked. So I'll be at POR from Sept. 26-Oct. 1, then moving to YC garden view Oct. 1-3! I'm so excited!!!

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.
