Wow!! What a small world! ;)

When we were there in 2006 we were walking through Studio 1 and someone shouted out Francesca. It turned out to be her Brown Owl (Brownie leader for those who've not been one).

I have an interview for a physio assistant job next Tuesday. I am on the verge of telling the ambulance service where to stick their job as they I am still waiting to find out the details of the new job I can go for as they have sinced stopped recruiting technicians after I passed all the selection process:headache:

The physio job is similar money but without the weekends & shifts:thumbsup2

I hope it went as well as in my case.

Yesterday, I signed my new contract, handed it in at my future company, went to my current company, handed over my resignation letter to HR and then told my boss I was leaving.
He didn't yell at me or anything, but then, I haven't told him (yet) to which company I'm going.
he did yell and curse and whatever to all the others who are going there. Oh well...

Congratulations Sandra - I hope it works out well for you.

Good luck Nikki - lets hope we are toasting you soon as well

Im also waiting for news from work at the moment.

I work for the local council and they have been doing a full job evaluation of all employees and the results are out next Friday. Unfortunately it could mean a pay cut :scared1:

Everyone is really fed up especially as its 18mths since the evaluations were done and we're all fed up waiting but the annoying thing is the work has become even more stressful in the last 12 mths with more and more added to our workload - but that wont be taken into consideration.
We can appeal if not happy with the decision and most people I work with are putting together an appeal in preparation but my role is a specialist one with only me doing the job so if I want to appeal it will probably just have to be me and not a joint one :scared1:

At least by this time next week we should know

You feeling good about the interview then??

Bob xoxoxox

Not overly confident but it is for 2 posts & I meet all the criteria they set out. I just need to show that on Tuesday. The fact that I have an interview I am pleased about due to many applications being sent off & not getting anywhere.

Hi hope your job evaluation all goes ok for you, I've just been through it as well, and I was lucky as mine went up and I'm getting nearly two years of back pay. Most people went up or stayed the same at my work, and those who have gone down are appealing now. I've got all my fingers crossed for you I know how horrible it is waiting :grouphug:

Fingers crossed that you don't end up fighting an appeal on your own. It can work out for the good - my sister (the rich one:rolleyes: ) had her job evaluation a couple of years ago and her backdated pay rise was more than my annual salary at the time! She is a Local Authority employee as well.

Hope your job evaluation has a good outcome Small World....
