We have a waitlist in at Hilton Head for the drive back...not optimistic about it coming through for Spring Break week right now...but fingers are crossed.

Fingers crossed! You never know. Also, I wouldn't rely solely on the waitlist. Keep stalking the website. That's what worked for me, even though we were on the waitlist as well. Don't give up. It really is a special place.

Roaring Springs maybe? This town came up on some of the searches I did on my own of cool towns along 95. Looks like it is right over the border and has a lot of outdoor daytime activities to do.

I'm not gonna lie, I honestly don't remember. It was dark, I had been driving for awhile, and the summer Covid realities in South Carolina (even my 5 year old son commented several times on people's masklessness, not social distancing, etc. at a rest stop.) had me pretty freaked out after having left WDW, so I wasn't really paying attention to the where, just so long it was not in SC.

Florence looks like a good midpoint stop for our drive back. Have you stayed overnight there? how is the town? anything you would recommend?

We did stay there overnight in August. I couldn’t tell you much about it though, since we were pretty much in and out, but we do have friends in the area who have said it’s a nice town.

stayed at the home2suites, since the parents have Hilton points. Nice hotel. One of the newer ones I think, since that specific chain is newer.

We have bought both Resale and Direct and have been owners since 2017.

We are going to Aulani in July--this trip was postponed from July 2020

We live in Chalfont (Bucks County), but I grew up outside of Scranton and lived in Pittsburgh for three years. We own at GF and HHI. We stayed at BCV July 19th-25th. Just cancelled our HHI trip for the end of August. [We don’t want to quarantine for two weeks again. ]

My mother use to say we live 10 miles from Billy Penn's hat in Flourtown
PA off of Mill Road. We joined DVC in 2008 on a fluke - '08 AK, '09 BL, '13 BC and '18 BC. In 2020 we cancelled 2 trips and finally made it in November. 2021 we visited WDW 4 times and 2022 we have 4 reservations - 2 cruise sandwiches.

NW PA here! Our first DVC contract was CCV, and we decided before ever going we needed more points so added on at PVB. Just got back two days ago from our first stay at WL and it was awesome. We saw a couple deer along Timberline Drive on the way in, but I must say being from rural PA that didn't really move the needle for us haha

We bought in 2009, WL is our home resort. Don't have a trip planned yet, but went for the first time alone since we had kids, last Sept. Which brings me to a question.

We borrowed one nights worth of points for that trip from this UY (started in Oct). I went into the site the other day and we have all of our points. Has this happened to anyone else??
