Hello again!! Oh, sweet updates! Let’s see I left off with a nice family portrait. Here’s one of my girls with Richard….just too much cute going on in one picture. I love that you can see so much of the sparkle on their dresses. I have wondered how many stories Richard's wife has heard over the years....does she get tired of them? I also wonder if anyone ever returns with photos to show him. Hmm.

Ok, so we were just about to leave this area and move toward the lobby of the GF when Randy asked Richard if he would mind giving me his hat. So, Richard says, “Oh, ok.” Randy instructs me to hold it above my head, like I’m putting it on and asks Richard for a thumbs up. While doing this Richard says to me, “That’s the first time I’ve taken off my hat in 23 years!” What an awesome photo….one of my favorites with him…..

Now it was time to move toward the lobby, but first we stopped to get some photos by the windows…..

As we moved to the grand staircase, we got more “oohs” and “aahs”. Randy had to begin directing traffic from the stairs. People would begin going up or down the stairs and see him try to take photos, then they would kind of freeze for a moment and not know what to do. “Should I wait, should we go?!” LOL Randy would say, “Come on down” or “Can you wait for just one moment, please?” I heard a lot of, “OH! She’s getting married!” And several people stopped to take their own photos. It feels a little strange.

Once we finished on the stairs, we took the cage elevator up to the second floor. One woman, who was getting off the elevator while we were trying to go up, actually held the door so she could get her own photo. Funny.

We finished up at the GF and headed to the WP….ceremony is so close. I vividly remember walking by a couple of little girls….one in particular just stared at me. Her mom bent down and said, “Look, a real live princess!” I said hello to the little girl and she just stared up at me in awe. She was so cute. I’m getting excited….and a little nervous about tripping on my dress.

Once we got into the Bride’s Vestible, we really didn’t have too much time….maybe five or so minutes. Angie came in and took some photos.

I think the girls were at the door watching what was going on in the WP. At one point, I went over so I could watch, but before I got a glimpse, they both said, “No! No! He’s coming out!! He might see you!” LOL I was able to watch DF walk into the WP….I was so excited and I was getting a little nervous. But I didn’t have time to get too nervous because before I knew it, it was time to go!!

I'm here, I'm here!! I'm back!!

Well, I’m back…..again! Work got a little silly….we moved floors in our building and then I went on vacation. We went to Chicago, which was my wedding gift to DH. We had fun and saw a lot, but much like Disney, we’ll have to go back to see everything because there’s so much to do and see! Let’s see. I left off with at the beginning of the ceremony, but before we get into that, here are a couple of photos of the marquee and the programs….

The programs turned out perfect. I can’t remember if I’ve discussed them before, but the artwork is something I did months ago. I’d taken a picture of the canvas and cropped off the top of it. Shelley from Impressions took that photo and did a complete wrap of the case and added our names and other information. She also used the same artwork for the cds inside the case. I’ll have to post the photos I took of them later. Ok, back to the ceremony! Here are the photos of everyone walking in….

As I’m about to walk in….I must confess, I was a bit of a diva. LOL Jamie knew I wanted the doors to open at a certain point in the song, so she kept asking, “Now?” I would say, “Not yet.” Eh, I guess if that’s as “bridezilla” as I got during the process, well, that’s not too bad. Anyway, this happened three or four times before I gave up. I walked to Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve and wanted to come in when the music crescendos at the beginning….it’s about 40 seconds in. I think I started to feel bad waiting there for it to come, and then I thought, “Oh, God! What if I miss it!” So the next time Jamie asked me, “Now?” I said, “Yes! Go!” For whatever reason, I look bored in this one….I think I was concentrating on the music. LOL

Yep, it took! SO much fun!! I can’t tell you how happy I am that, now, DH agreed to the streamer cannons!

Ok, so, after the ceremony, we did the obligatory drive around the parking lot and came back. Since we only had 20 guests we had everyone stay for portraits. DH and I were taken to the marriage shrub….yeah, I know that’s wrong, but I can’t remember what it’s called right now. LOL We were not aware that we were being photographed at the time, so there were some really sweet photos of us gushing….I won’t disgust you with those….ok, maybe just a couple.

This display went on for about 5 minutes or so….before I noticed Randy standing in the door with his camera up…..I said to DH, “Oh! We’re being photographed!” And I immediately posed.

Randy got several of us here….they take up two pages in our album. LOL Here’s one of my favorites….

Then he told DH to jump down, he wanted to get some of just me with the castle….I love this photo!

Here are some from Angela, Randy’s second shooter….the veil kept catching on my belt and no one was around to help me….I think DMIL had come out to see what we were doing and we were chatting a little. LOL

We went back inside to take portraits so everyone could get to the pre-reception…..now, these are most likely out of order, but I think you all just want to see the pictures LOL

There are SO many more of these….and they’re hilarious, but for the sake of time and to save you all from boredom, I’ll stick with just those two. DSILR and DBIL were having a grand time!

So, after these, we sent everyone except the bridal party off to the pre-reception so they could begin having some fun. I took this time to go change my shoes…as I was in the Bride’s Vestibule getting my pink shoes, DH, DFIL, and DMIL were chatting.

And here I am making my less grand re-entrance!

I can’t remember when this photo was taken, but I must have been waiting for direction on what we were doing next….

I just love that I’m cracking up every 5 minutes…..pictures! We’re taking pictures!!

We moved back to the stairs….I think it was at this point that Randy asked the guys to gather up as many petals from the aisle as they could hold….and make sure to grab some for the MOH and BM.

After this we moved out to the bridge. My eyes look closed in several of these….they aren’t though, the sun was crazy bright and I rarely go without sunglasses.

Outside the gates….the clouds in a lot of these and some of the previous photos are just spectacular. I love the way they look in the photos!

It’s a good thing we finished here…..because we were both ready to eat and get something to drink! Up next Pre-Reception/Reception.
