The GH Official Thread Part 3

I’ve missed a lot of the show in the past couple weeks but wow, lots of drama breaking today. Too much really, after dragging out some of these stories for so long. Why have the big reveal of Nina, and Bobbie’s death at the same time? Because poor Carly, I guess. I wish Nina had told Sonny and Willow that Michael was blackmailing her. And then Nikolas shows up at Ava’s too?

I liked the scene with Laura and friends reminiscing about Bobbie and was nice to see the flashbacks with Jackie Z. It occurred to me just how much everyone in PC is connected. Just with those at the table, you have Laura and Kevin as a couple, and past couples were Laura and Scotty, Bobbie and Scotty, Scotty and Lucy, and Kevin and Lucy. And they’re all still friends, LOL. Also glad that Tracy is on to Scott and Lucy’s little scheme.

Does anyone think Cyrus set this whole thing up, knowing once Sonny found out, he would find Sonny and goad him into beating him up, finally making Sonny look bad and getting him put in jail.

Sonny certainly gave Cyrus a best down didn’t he?

And what is up with Drew now? He left Australia early caise he didn’t want to lose his temper then with Nina implying if she were a male he would hurt because of the snitching?

And I feel bad for the actress who really plays Joss because she lost her mom recently I read.

And Snarlkolas is back . Lol

I would love to see Tony Geary too, even if they bring him back as a ghost to escort Bobbie to the great beyond. That may be a nice scene, just see the back of Bobbie, someone with curly red hair, walking off with Luke.
Sort of like-was it Mike who got escorted by some others who used to be in Port Charles, I think Edward Quartermaine was one.

Ok, who watched the 60th anniversary special??? The last few seconds had me screaming OMG!!!!!!! (Don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched it yet.)

Last few seconds were a surprise, however, to me, not totally unexpected. I was waiting to see Genie Francis until she finally appeared at the very end. Also surprised that Kin Shriner and Leslie Charleson were missing (though understandable if LC has health issues). Those three have been on GH the longest.

Not sure about that, but when Oscar (Drew’s son, Josslyn’s BF) died, Edward and Lila were there.

I just keep watching that video clip of the end of the show.

I'm guessing that final scene was just filmed in the last few days. Certainly that news would have leaked out if people had known for more than a few days. I had seen a post earlier in the day that Steve Burton had tweeted something about his last day of filming at DOOL this week but didn't thin anything of it -- he has left before. I had always thought he'd be back at GH one day but wasn't sure it would be this soon. I was so excited that I couldn't fall asleep last night (clearly I need to get a life! :D ). I cannot wait for him to start appearing again. Statements from GH & Steve Burton over night that it's official and not just some kind of a tease (I wouldn't have imagined they'd film that scene and not have it be official....but you never know). I think he's my favorite GH character ever.

I won't put the spoiler either, but I hope the ending means what I think it does.
Loved the blooper reel, Kin Shriner is too funny. It's too bad he wasn't on the actual anniversary show, also weird that Genie Francis was just on at the end. I also get why Leslie Charleston wouldn't be there, but why couldn't Kin Shriner have been on and why was Genie Francis only there at the end. I guess it was a scheduling thing.
It was nice to see them do a tribute to JZ, won't give away who did it.

unfortunately I was spoiled. I was scrolling through FB while watching. I thought the show was very well done but could have easily been twice as long . Kin was there when they did the group thing at the end all the way on the left hand side but it is a shame they thought devoting time to the two actresses at the opening was a better use of time then some of the long time favorites. Amber brought tears to my eyes which I wasn't expecting. Very accurate when Alan was explaining the snowball analogy to Emily. Did we even see Robin?

I didn't even notice Kin Shriner was in the big group. I don't get why he wouldn't have been front and center with Genie Francis, they, along with Leslie Charleston, have been on the longest, since the late 70's!

ok, so I know I've been vocal with the unpopular opinion that Nina is not at fault here. And at least on GH, turning in the criminal is worse than the crime, by far. I don't even want to think about what this means in the case of violent crimes.
I have a semi serious question, does this all translate to real life? Your cousin turns in your son in law for embezzlement. SIL gets beat in prison. Is this your cousin's fault?? What if your cousin didn't turn him in but ended up being the key witness that leads to conviction? And it's not even just that Carly hates Nina. The two of them have plenty of reasons to hate each other. It's really that the whole city has the same view.
