Woohoo...my tp from amazon is out for delivery!
I stopped at a Publix today. They were fully stocked, except for TP, tissues, eggs, and frozen veggies. I went there for eggs and frozen veg...ended up with an 18 count carton of VERY expensive eggs (but the chickens were free raised and fed natural, so that's good, right?...but I'm not sure if they were $7.99 good....) and a bunch of fresh stuff (so I'll save the frozen for later and we'll eat the fresh first).

Yes, we had the tough choice last weekend of either "cage free" or "free range." Decisions, decisions. But only $4.99 (but that was only a 12 count).
WOW $7.99 for eggs, are the shells gold? LOL! I have been lucky enough to find eggs at Aldi's every weekend, and if by chance I run out, one of my sister in laws has chickens and has fresh eggs for me when needed. She brought me a dozen last Sunday, and ouch, those poor chickens,,those were JUMBO sized eggs!
just keep looking! What are your tricks snagging those widely sought after products that are impossible to buy?
I'm still not able to get my hands on hand sanitizer, alcohol pads/bottles or Clorox wipes.
Continued best wishes along with prayer for your dad, Mark.I have now been given a task of looking for the holy grail...
Does anyone know if there is a reliable place online to get a few *real* N95 masks (even if a bit over-priced)? My dad will likely be starting chemo in about 6-weeks, and he asked if I could start searching on where to source a few masks for then (so I have plenty of time to find them). I asked him to call his oncologist as they might be able to provide him with a few masks, but I am starting to look for a backup source just in case.
Wow, so many different kinds. How to figure what is appropriate for home use similar to a Lysol spray. If you are desperate for disinfecting cleaners check Staples.com under the dilution control chemicals.
They are pricey but they are concentrated so they will last a long time.
There's a $25 off $100 coupon floating around too
Vital Farms is very good stuff. Their egg yolks stay deep gold well past best by date. I find them to be similar quality with local farm pastured eggs. Their pastured butter is great, too.It was either $5.99 for a dozen of the free range eggs or $7.99 for 18 of the Vital Farms special eggs. The free range ones all had broken eggs in the containers, so, special eggs it was. We usually use Egglands Best (they taste better) or Davidson's (because they are pasteurized, and are usually $4.99 a dozen...but even those were sold out), but I'm almost out of those.
Yeah, my local shpermarket had this variety and the citrus. Whew!Back from the store.....got TP, PT, flour (they had lots of sugar too, but I don't need any).
No Lysol spray but they had a Clorox one, so I got one of those.

I don't understand what this issue is with frozen vegetables. Granted, I didn't look this week, but last week that freezer was emptier than the week before. But they had ice cream.I stopped at a Publix today. They were fully stocked, except for TP, tissues, eggs, and frozen veggies
Scott (yes, I've seen that thread ) produces single rolls. I've seen store brand single rolls at Wegmans, Walgreens, and um, my local Market Basket.I was at Costco last Saturday and they had 3-pack boxes of disinfectant wipes. I scooped up a box and felt like I was stealing from someone. (I paid for them. )
Costco also sells 24 organic eggs for $5.99. Pretty good deal for organics.
Trader Joes was selling individually wrapped rolls of toilet paper for .69 each. That's the first time I've seen individual rolls for sale, but got the limit (2) for DD, who was running low.
Hello, Tag Fairy????The Lysol Spray has been like a UFO sighting -- it appears and disappears so quickly!
DH made an Easter dinner groceries run this evening and was very pleased to see that things are definitely looking up at regular supermarkets around here. Sprouts and Aldi both were looking better with stocked shelves, more dairy and eggs, paper products (DH found a pallet of toilet paper at Aldi in the evening! First time he's seen TP at a supermarket in 3 weeks!), and meat. And Aldi had many bags of flour, too. Good signs... Now, if we can see the same improvement in cleaning supplies!
I was in our Aldi's yesterday, and it's the first time since this all started that their paper goods row was practically empty. No TP , they did have some kleenex and 6 roll packs of paper towels. No cleaning stuff though. All the other rows in the store were well stocked. Plenty of flour and sugar there, full pallets. Went to Walmart-empty paper goods row, no cleaning supplies except for laundry and dish detergent. Not a bottle of Mr Clean, Lysol, Clorox, etc to be found and no bleach. Still on the hunt for my holy grail-disinfecting wipes, but so far no luck.
