And just one more thing. If I found out that my first and last name was posted in some online forum AND being basically slandered I would be lawyering up. Not defending her but was a bit throwb that we can post personal infos and slander ( right or wrong doesnt matter)

Granted these posts have raised a red flag for me to be more vigilant and I am grateful for these infos about her here in DiS.

TA mention or selling is strictly not allowed on her pages abd I have yet seen any TA services offered by her. That is one thing I like there is no selling. Maybe that is why or FB has a strict policy as they want their users buying ad space from them. Nit hiding it in posts.

Facebook does not have a policy forbidding sales in groups or timeline. Otherwise all the private MLM sales groups would be an issue. (Also, it is not forbidden.)

While mods can sometimes be heavy-handed or react too quickly to things, I tend to think they are a little slow on this one. This thread really needs to be closed or possibly deleted, if only to protect the board owners' backsides.

her name is splashed all over these groups. There is nothing wrong in a legal sense with discussing her or her FB groups here. She has no legal grounds to stop anyone from talking about her either.

Links to other social media sites are not allowed on DISboards. Especially for cruise meet groups/Fish Extenders.

DISboards prefers that cruise meet groups and Fish Extender groups on DISboards be handled directly on DISboards.

I would agree, but after 11 cruises and having started the majority of those FE groups on the DIS, you just don't see many on here anymore. Most are on social media because people claim they like to keep their vacation details private. I personally liked it better when it was all on the DIS, but that's just me.

I completely agree. It was much more private here on the DIS. I haven't done the FE thing since way back when the cruise groups were here. It just feels too intense these days.

As for this person, if she wanted her name to be private, then she should not be butting into all the groups and proclaiming herself the DCL queen and know it all. I think privacy is her last concern.

Maybe people don't like her for her poor grammar. I'm still not sure what people are beefing about. I find it odd that people are claiming they are canceling cruises to avoid being on a cruise where she is the FB FE admin. How do you explain that to your family?

take it from a lawyer, nobody is taking that case. she would be laughed out of every office in the country unless she was willing to pay a ridiculous amount in attorney fees that were guaranteed regardless of whether or not the case was thrown out a week after filing or not.

I don't particularly care for AK, and have had my own run in/ban from her because she disagreed with a decision that our group made, but to say she owns most DCL FB groups is false. She lists cruise groups on her pages, but that doesn't mean that she's in or leading all of them. And if she joined my group and started trying to "take it over", I'd just ban her. Simple solution. That said, her pages are second class compared to the Disney Cruising page and it's painfully obvious that she only uses them to make a buck off of FE gifts. She's not out to help anyone.

i agree with this. i tried to do FE on my cruise forum on this board - and was told to go elsewhere. i don't know why we can't all get along....
